I just want to know , a big wall of new biomes appeared everywhere in my world and looks so bad.
So yup , i cant live with that i need to make a new one :D.
What about you guys?
Nope. I've put a lot of thought into whether or not I will be starting an entirely new world, but I've spent the better part of a year in this current world. I've done a fair amount of exploring, but I reckon doing a bit more to find the new biomes will be worth it. As for chunk errors ... there's a bit of charm in them, to me anyway. Literally a line in the sand, in one instance.
It's not so much the resources I've accumulated, but the building projects I've been working on. I'd like to go back to them sometime.
I always make a new world every time I change versions, although this time I'm planning to stick to one world, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that.
I might start over. My first worlds were in Alpha, made one in beta, another before and after the pre 1.9.5 snapshots, numerous ones since. My main world is still my 2nd Alpha world and I don't want even more borders and huge walls, having to travel 10 000 minecraft miles for a new biome. I'm still doing my re-geration sheme of the world that I started in 2012.
The main reason why I want to start over is the biomes, I really like the Savanna and roofed forest biomes. I'll most likely start a survival home in a normal world and a "base" in a survival amplified world.

Indeed. Although, as other have stated I intend to wait for Optifine and Rei's minimap mod. Without that map I am doomed!
I am really digging the new additions; although as with any "snapshot", I've found the latest snapshot freezes a lot for me and the world doesn't draw correctly. I am a Minecraft newb, so this is my first update I've played through.
I will start a new rail system world when 1.7 is out officially. for now I'm using AMIDST to explore a seed, list locations of villages, temples, rare biomes, check to see if the structure actually generates. have the game crash for no reason. retry the world X number of times with the same crash in the same spot every time. report the crash to the bug tracker. and pick a new seed and start the process all over again. I'm on my 5th seed.

I'd never take any world I cared about across a major terrain change. I like my worlds to look good and thousands of blocks of hideous block borders would ruin them. This change will be particularly bad because of the change from oceanic to continental and the increased generation heights. Border cliffs will be even bigger than before and will be aggressively antagonistic to the structure of the old world.
I've actually already started one world with the snapshots - currently on hold until more bugs get ironed out. Assuming there's no massive changes to world generation, I expect to continue it until my favorite world-changing mods make it to 1.7.

Geographicraft (formerly Climate Control) - Control climate, ocean, and land sizes; stop chunk walls; put modded biomes into Default worlds, and more!
RTG plus - All the beautiful terrain of RTG, plus varied and beautiful trees and forests.
I have already made new worlds for the snapshots. I always make new worlds for the new updates so that all the new features that come with the generated world appear for me.

So far 1.7 has higher framerate than 1.6.
