They'll never add GLSL Shaders into minecraft; keep dreaming.
It'd be far too intensive, and you're a fool to call the current shader-tests "retarded" as they're clearly just basic examples for future capabilities
Am I the only one realising this isn't quite intended for the game, but rather a step towards the Mod API?
Think about it, now it seems we have a potentially easier way to modify a new minecraft shading engine
They are not going to add SEUS shaders or GLSL shaders, But someone will, Since there is a .json file for each shader, Maybe Sonic Ether is going to make a shader for 1.7, You don't know, I am not really sure if that is possible with .json, But I think that is what Mojang is planning to add, you don't really need to turn on your shader if you have a bad computer, I and lots of other people has a good computer, Who doesn't have a good one, They can hopefully run the other simple shaders, Hopefully.
Just click the "Super Secret Options" button just spam clicking you can see the shaders change, If it does not work, Check if you are on the snapshot, Check if you have a good graphics card(You can know if you have a good one if you have a high fps, Mine is 60, I can run all shaders with no problems, Some of them lag a little)
Where is the folder in which the shaders are? Because I've somehow gotten lost in them and can't find my way back to normal... If no-one replies, I'll have to go through the whole deleting and backing up thing...

It is in the 13w38a/b/c jar, in the directory AppData > Roaming > .minecraft > Versions > (jar folder)
Phosphor is my favorite, then bit. But any of these combined with nausea could be fun. All we need is them to add consumables (besides the puffer-fish) which let you hallucinate this way.
I do think these will be great use for adventure maps though, limiting vision and amplifying an experience.
This one:
It makes the game look more realistic for me because with this shader I can see in Minecraft the same way as I see in the real life
Actually, your eyes won't stand this trial for more than 1 or 2 minutes.

And yes, I have the latest snapshot, and "Enable Post-Processing: On"...
try going to your versions folder deleting the snapshot and redownload it.

Yes, it;s because of mipmapping. Same applies to glass and flowers and... everything transparent...
[quote=DaBiggman;/comments/8994482]I think Jens will add Religion to the NPC's, so we can watch them kill each other.

...but that's just like, my opinion, man.
