They look different from Zombies, most of them have a different way of creation and they can be cured. Is that enough to treat them as their own mob?
If yes, they get their own page on the wiki and are linked to in the mob section.
If no, they will only be talked about on the Zombie page. Or Villager page? Also if no, do they go on the Villager or Zombie page?
I don't know if I want that, Currently Zombie Villagers spawn naturally as a result of being the same mob, I think if they are applying a head overlay they should just apply an overlay to the entire skin so that they don't have zombie/Steve outfits.
Ah, You meant Wiki wise, well they should probably just be placed as a topic in both Zombie and Villager pages.
I dunno, Spider Jockeys are treated as a unique mob on the wiki, and Villager Zombies are far more unique then Spider Jockeys. Personally, I'd say that the Villager Zombies are different enough to deserve their own page on the wiki.

Agreed. Give Zombie Villagers their own page, but mention and link to them from both the Villager and Zombie pages.
Zombie Pigmen have their own page, mentioned and linked to from the Pigmen page.

The Internet is a big place, friend. I've been places you've n͍̺e̩v̦e̦̰͍͓̩ͅr̜̭̝̬̬͉̤̬ ͙ịm̖͇a͍͇̤͙̥g̤̘i͔͖̤̼̪̬n͖͔̳̬̯e̩̘ḓ͈͔̠̙͇̼̯.͎
In the sense that the game considers them a new mob; yes, they are a new mob.
In the sense that 'hey, here's a NEW mob!'; no, they do not count as a new mob.
Edit: Okay, coming back to actually read the topic I replied to. I think that since they are both Zombies and Villagers they need to be mentioned on the Villager page AND the Zombie page. I don't think there's enough to them for them to get their very own page.
I'd say their info should go on the Villager page because it's an altered state for villagers. I suspect most people who want to know why their villagers are turning green and attacking them, and how they can be cured, will probably consult the Villagers page first. If "villagers turning into zombies" is the pressing issue, "villagers" remains the subject.
Well, I think I consider zombie villagers as different a mob from zombies as charged creepers are from regular creepers. Consider this:
They have the same behaviour.
They spawn from a special event.
They have a prefix or suffix added to their name.
They look different from the standard mob.
Based on that, and taking into account that charged creepers do not have their own page, but do have a section in the creeper page, zombie villagers should have their own section on the zombie page, and a smaller section on the villager page that directs users to the main article on the zombie page but also has some information, like how they are created.
They shouldn't have their own page since most of the content on it would be either copy pasted from the zombie page or it would be "they act like zombies <link to zombie page>".
The fact that they can also spawn naturally does not make them their own mob. If charged creepers could spawn naturally they wouldn't be classed as their own mob and I don't see any reason to treat villager zombies differently.

At the moment... No... But if they change them a little like add villager clothes to them then yes they deserve a page
Just wanted to add something about charged creepers... When lightning hits a creeper it gets an armor like a Zombie walks around with Golden Armor so you can delete "They look different from the standard mob.".
Yes I know how it works. My point remains valid however, armour and a lightning effect that is skinned like armour is not the same thing.

Yeah. I agree with this one.

I'm still using Windows 7.
I said this. Two days later, my computer's motherboard melted down and I had to get a new one with Windows 8.
Could just spawn a regular zombie where you die by zombie, that'd be neat. Although the feature could be pretty pointless in singleplayer. Depending on how far your spawn is from where you die, the zombie might just despawn before you get there.
Would be cool in multiplayer, but it would be a bit lame if the zombie didn't look like you. Ideally the zombie spawn would have a zombified version of your own skin, like what KyoShinda has above or what I have as one of my randomob textures, but only for your own zombie. I guess you could upload a separate 'zombie skin' on minecraft.net alongside your regular skin for this purpose but that seems like a lot of effort for a novelty feature.
Still, it would be cool.

I mean the Zombie would be a regular textured Zombie, yes. However, any armor you're wearing it would be wearing when you find it again, it would not die. The only way to get your stuff back would be to kill it. Which is harder then you think, because it can use your own weapons. It also won't despawn.

Should probably only happen on hard, maybe with a 50% chance on normal, same as villagers. Also, I hope the zombie doesn't use up the durability of my armour when I'm punching it to death from a ledge . Bad zombie!
I recently gave myself the challenge at protecting a village against zombies while going about my regular business. After 7 ingame days of barely finding time for my own business and more trying to find ways of protecting the village, I have come to the conclusion that villagers are fubar, especially with the zombie infection that is upcoming.
Where to classify zombie villagers? In the section under 'One more reason to not bother with those poor villagers.'
I thought Steve had it bad....
If I remember right, and I am too tired to look up where I saw it, you hit them with a weakness splash potion, and then give them a golden apple. The simpler one you make with gold nuggets, not blocks.
