Sorry if there's another place to report bugs for the snapshots or if this has already been reported.
Anyways, within a few minutes of starting a world on snapshot 12W22A I started taking damage from my hunger bar being depleted.
The issue with that is the fact that I was playing on normal, if I recall correctly hunger bar stops at around 1 1/2 hearts on normal.
I think you might be recalling incorrectly. The hunger bar depletes the same on normal as it does on Easy or Hard, and you lose health when your hunger bar is depleted on all difficulty levels (well, except Creative, of course). The only difference is that you can die of hunger on Hard, but your health will only drop to a half-heart on Normal (and five hearts on Easy).

I found an irritating glitch: When you press q on an item, save the game, and re-enter, the item in its thrown version will be invisible, although you can still collect it.
