Back in like, April or early May, I recall reading somewhere that it was planned to come out around late May or early June, but I don't even know if I actually read that or not, and it's far past that now, in both time and planned content to be added. I'd say early to mid July, possibly the beginning of August :3 I just hope it comes out some time over the summer, but I wouldn't mind waiting another month, if it means a well done, bug-free release c:

Thats what I thought too... I found no evidence either. So Now I'm thinking Early July.

Not going to download it for a while due to that "OMG ALL TEH MODZ R INCOMPATIBLE" phase that lasts for a few weeks after an update is released.

Mid July at earliest. The snapshots still have tons of bugs to iron out.

Well, I won't update until the Plugin API is released/included and our Planet Random server won't be online until I update.

ive heard rumors about it coming out on June 27th...which for me is now but its 12 am so it prob wont be till early morning or afternoon! i think there would be stuff on the Minecraft.net about it saying when its coming out but idk..was it like that for 1.2.5 or did it come out randomly...i got into minecraft about a month and a half ago so it was after 1.2.5 came out...but i hope its soon!!! im itching for a new update already! although ive gotten the snapshots but those dont technically count

ive herd that 1.3 was ment to be released on 23rd june but notch found a bug so it was delayed until 28 june from what i know

Sigh. I'm guessing 5 July or so. Been's taking a while for bugfixes, but should be worth it.

I am assuming early July, unfortunately.

ok, you people need to keep up with the news. NOTCH IS NOT WORKING ON THE GAME ANYMORE. JEB IS THE MAIN DEVELOPER! THERE IS 3 OTHER GUYS WORKING ON IT ALSO! (hope im not wrong on the amount)

Jeb said it is coming out "This Summer" and it will come as soon as it is finished. I saw this information on minecraft wiki!

not at all saying its wrong but just remember anyone can edit the wiki

Jeb said that they have fixed most of the bugs.
I think it would be 5 or 12 of July.
