Well there is one bad thing. They would probably take up over two-hundred spaces. Potions are a lot already. But I would still like them.
While this might be complicated, there could be a menu where you choose a tool and choose an enchantment for said tool (you know, like it should be already :P) obviously without requiring xp.

Great idea. It should just let you pick the tool or armor, then give you the option to select the enchantment. Should be added.
The enchantments tab should be like the enchantment table, but more.... instant. Put the thing on the square. Type in your enchantment. Click enchant, and yay. You could add multiple enchantments as, as well.
Example:
Put pickaxe in tab.
Type in "silk touch"
Click enchant
You have a silk touch pick!
Why not just have a list of enchantments you can click?

Jeb is the best thing that ever happened to Minecraft. Notch used to be good, but added so many things in 1.8-1.0 nearly all of them were unfinished. It was a near disater. Jeb is slowly fixing them while adding new things of his own.

Agreed. Testificates FINALLY have a real purpose. They have trading, AI, defense. They're almost perfect. The only issue I can think of is the weirdness that occurs with village generation sometimes. I'd also like them to react to attack or destruction of the village
If Jeb adds some ocean content, a better ending, the Mod API, and maybe a few more bug fixes, then the game will officially be "complete" in my eyes.

Well, if they watch you destroy an entire building, they dont care whether or not you rebuild it they are going to hate you. I would totally love to see that added. Should they actually be able to fight the player though?
I heard an idea AGES ago about this community chest in every village. If you made the villagers happy, they would let you use the community chest. If you stole or did anything bad though they would hate you and banish* you. Although the banish part was the most unclear part, whether that meant attacking you or just avoiding you.

There was a mod with community chests, too much free stuff. So if you destroy a tree nearby they will get angry at you because they might think it's part of the home(roof?). It's way too unspecific and useless to be a feature.

Sure, he started the project and brought it pretty far. But then he pretty much abandoned an incomplete game and called it "complete". Notch was a cool fellow in my eyes at one time. However his behavior towards the Yogscast and the community in general made me lose respect for him. I just don't see him as a likable person to be honest.
Jeb is a truly faithful developer who's finishing what Notch never did, and doing a fantastic job doing it. The Bukkit team is doing phenomenal as well.

Potions have a tab with a picture of a potion. Enchanted tools should have the same thing, a picture of an enchanted tool.
To make room, the tool and the weapon tabs I see now could be merged, and the enchanted tool tab could be added
