Mobs do not spawn at block height 128 and up. Tested on Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties. This is not a brand new world I created it with snapshot 12w04a. Thanks

I'm not getting iron golems at all. I'd be pleased to see one on a roof. lol

I don't think they should be able to anyway

When you destroy a block and place another block in it's place, the drop from the destroyed block doesn't fly out like it usually does, it stays inside the placed block

Actually I created a mob spawner in 12w08b and am killing mobs as we speak at y:230, so yes they can.

If you move up where the lava slants a certain way you can see clear through the lava and I even found a place to stand in the lava. The second thing is that grass doesn't go away when lava flows over it. Not even after some time has passed will it ever turn back into dirt. The lava doesn't affect it.


Also in certain spots in the lava, the lava sound will turn into continuous sound. I don't really know why.

FOOD Bug, unless its just my server.

I loaded the 1.2 server and now the players who joined get hit by another player or try sprinting, the food bars goes from full to 0.

I know this isn't really a bug but because of the clouds casting a 'faint' shadow when you aren't in smooth lighting, the shadows look really bad. They are actually very dark when you have brightness set to moody, not a very 'faint' shadow.

This still seems to be a glitch:

If you damage the dragon, its knockback+damage go away and it just nudges you.

I found a major world generation bug. Sometimes, at the borders of biomes there will be a clear strip of land about 5 or 6 blocks wide. The strip appears clear but there are invisible and unbreakable trees/objects in them that can cause the player to literally get stuck in mid air. I generated 2 worlds and both exhibited this behavior. This was on the latest 1.2.2 server. Also, similarly, I've found snow floating in mid air on top of said invisible trees.

You know the consequences of updating. If you didn't backup your map like it was suggested on the main page, then it's your own fault.

I dont know if this is a bug or not, but the mobs are not spawning above block level 128. They did in all of the snapshots, so why are they not working now?
