Now what the hell could all this mean? What I see:
- Some kind of crystalline structure that looks like the Ender equivalent of trees. Probably a decorative block. The tops look like they have eyes.
- A new dungeon that looks like a treehouse. Can't tell what the tree is made of (endstone? or a new block?), but the houses are endstone bordered with what could be a polished or brick form of the crystal tree block. The windows are either purple stained glass or yet another new block.
- A small End island (looks like an airship actually) with some kind of tree or tower on it.
- Endermen near the bottom of the treehouse.
But what's also important is what I don't see: End Spires. The towers with the ender crystals are nowhere in sight, despite the fact that you can see crystal trees way in the background (so it's not like Jeb happened to take a picture where the end spires are out of frame). Could this image be another Ender island? Is the End finally going to be infinite like the other worlds in Minecraft? Also maybe it's going to have biomes, like some parts of the End could be crystal tree forests, some could be just regular plains, or something else entirely.
What do you guys think?

Timeless Modding is kinda dead but idk what to put here now
I noticed that the new "ender trees" are actually not full blocks. They have the same thickness as cacti, with the exception of the top, which is a full block. Also, one of the blocks that the houses on the dungeon are made of resembles the "ender trees", but if you notice, they're actually full blocks. This "ender brick" also has stair and slab variants. The next thing I want to take note of is that the "ender trees" seem to resemble coral. In fact, even end stone itself looks like coral. And considering that the object floating on the right is clearly a ship, it makes me think that the end is going to become a "space ocean" of sorts.

Yes, it is actually very interesting that the main part of the "trees" don't seem to be full blocks.
I don't have any speculations for what anything in this picture actually may be. It is too mysterious.
God Jeb, why do you have to be so cryptic?!
EDIT: On second thought, if this is in fact some sort of dungeon in the picture, surely it can't be filled up with JUST endermen can it? Maybe they are making some new End-themed mobs!

Well maybe these ender cacti tree things are actually end trees, and you can collect a purple tinted spruce wood looking wood planks. that would be cool, and also I don't think the towers are gone, because then killing the dragon would be insanely easy if your well equipped.
I love the idea of adding more blocks and items to the end, it is VERY useless as of 1.8 because all you do is kill a black dragon that gives you a uselles egg that will be lost in the 10 chests of my storage room, the end needs to be ramped up so you would actually have a reason to go there, I think this will add a lot to MC
All I'm thinking is The End will have a new look to it, but nothing about the Ender Dragon will change. I don't know who will agree/disagree with me.
Dinnerbone already said he's re-doing the Ender Dragon fight. It'll be like the console edition (which is almost completely different from PC), but a step even further.
And I really like the Idea of the End being an infinite generation of islands with one big "boss" island where the enderdragon and all his stuff is. It's about time we got some new features added to the end because at this point, the end is pretty empty.
I don't approve the idea of The End being a infinite generation of island with only one being the boss territory. The player may be spawned too far from the boss or the player may also walk in the wrong direction to the boss.

You realize the player will still always spawn on that obsidian platform next to the dragon's island?

So as I'm sure you've heard, Jeb posted this image on Instagram:

If the End were infinite, it would be cool to have to hunt for the Ender Dragon to find it, instead of it being right there when you spawn in.
Or, the Ender Dragon could still be in the main island, but you spawn somewhere else.
I still haven't seen this image until now, but wow. I'm really excited for this! I think the developers did a creative look to the End; really great!

Im not sure what it will all mean. But, what I do know is that it's going to be freaking awesome.

There might be new mobs. Jeb was talking about a new dungeon a while ago with new blocks and mobs, here was see 2 out of 3 of those in one pic.
I thought those were endermen. I guess they could be a new mob though, some of them look too fat to be endermen.

I would call these structures as Ender Corals. They look more like sea reefs than trees.
Or maybe Ender Seaweed! Then we can eat it and be able to ride Endermen xD. Just a random thought.

Looks like they are taking a page from AMC's Random RPG

Maybe there will be more Ender Islands now, and each one will have a Dragon? And the end will be infinity generating like the overworld or nether?
I probably shouldn't guess though, I'm almost definitely wrong.
Edit: Also, why is my banner stretching out? It should be way shorter, banner sized.
Now that looks cool.

The player may not see the big island and follow the wrong way to it, and possibly getting lost.
