You asked.. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4GmmHx Don't hurt me. 2 parts are wrong, I do own a iiyama 27inch but partpicker don't have it and I own AKG K612 headphones not 701 but they aren't produced anymore.
Again, dun kill me. I worked myself off for that setup.
...but Minecraft taxes the system with the revolving red stone lamps. I guess I really don't under stand why both my PC i7 Intel, ASUS Mb with 8Gb Ram, Nvidia Graphics and Win 8.1, Minecraft v. 1.8.2 Pre 6, or the PS3, Minecraft v1.14(TU20), have trouble with the red stone lamps. The frame rate drops on both machines inducing lag. Turn the lamps off, no problem no lag. I did not see the lag on my PC until v 1.8. Maybe Windows 10 will work better.
The only theory I have is that Minecraft is built terribly. I run battlefield 4 ultra settings at 120-180 fps, while Minecraft runs at around 50 or below.
Minecraft is built of java, and uses less cpu memory. It's naturally going to be slower than a full games you download from places like steam
Problem with this game is that it only uses one core by default. Optifine fixes it Default mc, as you can see in the corner one core is stressed up with the rest is not. The gpu usage is normal as I haven't fixed my framerate.
