I brought the ios version hoping for something unique, and with beetroots and that I got something different enough. With xBox they have nothing new apart from paid versions of things pc gets for free with pretty bad textures.
Xbox has a better Enderdragon fight compared to the P.C.'s (two of the Ender Crystals are surrounded in bars and the Enderdragon has a ranged attack). It's not much but they do have it. That sort of thing shouldn't be version-exclusive IMO though.
Although, the other versions have pretty much nothing on P.C. (except for the iOS and Android's portability) since P.C. has mods which can easily mod in the version exclusives from the other versions as well as a multitude of other things. Xbox does have it quite rough because it's stuck with an old version without the ability to improve Minecraft's mediocre base game as it can't be modded without breaking laws, but at least iOS is good for building.

Did something happen to you in your childhood to give you this unreasonable fear of rutabaga?
Guys, to clear things up, the Guardians do die in lava now, but they can still survive on land. The not dying on land was intended, and it'll stay that way.
Yeah they ruined it, laser-beaming Cyclopes lava fish was apparently too op. While they are changing things they should make it so zombies and skeletons cannot drown then.

Then what's the purpose of water temples? I don't see any reason to hang around this one or find another one since I already have tons of gold already.
Sponges and new building materials. Clearing one in survival would be nice, but there's little reason to seek out a second unless/until Mojang adds more to them.
It's worth noting that while the Elders disappear should you switch to peaceful, they don't when you switch between creative and survival. Thus, you can gear yourself and have periods of invulnerability to aid in the experiment.
Sponges don't do anything you couldn't do with buckets and sand/gravel. Guardian drop rates are so awful, and even a Looting III sword doesn't seem to improve the drop rate for Prismarine Crystals.
I initially thought Sea Lanterns would have been an interesting alternative to Glowstone, but there is far too much effort for too little reward.
I was intending the reward of dismantling the bulk of the monument, not actually sticking around to kill more of the mobs. I'm sure there'll be a farm-design soon enough if you're interested, though.
and even a Looting III sword doesn't seem to improve the drop rate for Prismarine Crystals.
That turns out to be true due to the way Looting affects both the common raw fish drop and the crystal drop and the way that the raw fish drop and the crystal drop interact. Non-looting crystal drop rate is 2/9 (22%), Looting I is 4/16 (25%), Looting II is 6/25 (24%!), and Looting III is 8/36 (22%!).
Hostile or friendly? The fishes look like they're going to attack or something. That's what I only predict. It could be possible they they're hostile. I think this fish is a something or should I call it one eyed fish.

Sure, they aren't fireproof anymore, but they still can survive on land.

Nah, they should keep it the way it is, IMO.
I could see through that!!!

they are a lot faster than buckets or randomly placing sand/gravel.

Call it a Guardian.
I agree.
