when i was testing with tnt minecarts falling into a hole, i got this weird death message when a tnt minecart blew me up right after i was shot by a skeleton.
i am going to guess 90% of the people who see this post are gonna say that i renamed a creeper. if you think that, it is NOT true.

You'll find it's quite easy to be shot by a Skeleton then blow yourself up.
I personally find it more impressive when people rename Creepers, anyway; because they have to get close enough to the Creeper to rename it but not let it explode.
I also find "Player fell out of the world" messages more interesting. I have no other operators on my server (So no /kill) and no holes in the Bedrock layer. So how do they fall in to the void?

Ah, sorry; makes sense. I just didn't read the thread over and thus had no context.
Another thing that happens (on my server), is that the chunks just stop being sent - and if you go outside of the loaded chunk, you basically fall (Quite slowly, actually, as if you have Slow Falling (But this server is on 1.6, so the Slow Falling effect doesn't exist yet)) down and out of the world. Almost as if the unloaded chunk was made of air.
