I have a world which has been slowly growing over time and I have been getting weekly saves of the world to do some timelapse style work using overviewer and screenshotting it
the problem is my world is now 50GB big, and still growing
If I was to put all the world downloads into one folder for overviewer to take and convert into a single webpage (where you can pick the date you want to view) the world folder would be around 250-300GB big, and each week it would at at least another 50GB if not more as the world grows
Is there a way to take a map, render it, delete the world data, add a new world and add to the original map without deleting anything that was rendered before?
I hope im making sense, and can try send some screenshots of what im talking about if it helps explain it more
This sounds like a specialized enough question that you might be better of seeing if this Overviewer program has a forum or something and asking there as well. There might not be very many Overviewer users here, I could be wrong but I've never heard of it.

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.

Good luck!
Iv asked in a few places, they dont have a forum as such, just github issue tracking

Problem was it generates the config file based on the render
so if i render one map, then render the next, the config file only shows that second render
What iv resorted to doing is doing individual renders, the manually adding the configs together, which seems to be working okay

Sorry but how does that answer my question?
Looks like it just makes images, so as long as you keep the images, I don't see a problem deleting the old saves unless I'm missing something here...

No that I can see, not a problem that i think they have come across much if at all as im using it for a very odd scenario which most people dont do
