I play Pixelmon, and it's important that I can see clearly underwater so I can find shinies. So far I have turned up my gamma, edited my texture pack so that I can see clearer, turned on Clear Water for Optifine, and I'm using Respiration on a helmet. I do know that I can use a night vision potion, but I'd like something permanent. I'm nearly there with the clear water, but there is a blue fog underwater that I would like to get rid of. Please keep in mind that I'm using a Mac in version 1.10.2. Thanks!
I assume it is not just an overlay of a blue tinted image that you can just find in the game files and change to white. It is probably created through some of the rendering code so I believe a mod would have to be made to disable it.

Are you aware of any mods or texture packs that create clearer water?
Some shaders turn the water completely transparent so you can barely even tell it's there at all. I don't have enough computer to do shaders, however.
I'll try looking for one. Thanks!
optifine have an option called clear water idk if this will solve it
