There is a self proclaimed largest pixel art build in the world, with a staggering 1,128,960 million blocks placed, found . But I can't find any other hand placed records.
Unless it is listed on an "official" site it is difficult to find out whether something is a world record, and even then many of the records that I've seen are not even close to world records; for example, this record claims to have set a world record for the longest distance walked - a mere 101 km - I've walked over 13,000 km in a single world (far greater than even Kurt's Guinness world record, including up to now) and well over 1,000 on multiple other worlds (101 km is only 6.5 hours of nonstop walking, or 19-20 hours of playtime at my average speed). Likewise, I've found many veins of diamond with more than just 6 ore - as many as 10 in a single (non-conjoined) vein, and more in multiple veins (most records on sites like this are probably not even verified).
This is also why I put "possibly" in my signature; I have not seen anybody else come even close to the amount of caving that I've done, especially in one world, despite much searching and asking around, but it is always possible that somebody else out there has done more (there are 55+ million regular players so I'd have to be in the upper 99.9999982%).
Does anybody know what's the World Record for the
largest Minecraft construction ever made by hand in
Creative Mode?
When I say "made by hand" I mean literally made by
placing one block at a time without resorting to any
kind of extra help like WorldEdit or alike...
I'm curious because I've been slowly working on a
project of mine and it's about to hit the 7-digit numbers
in statistics.
Thanks in advance...

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
