Hello everybody,
I would have a question related to 1.13 I write this message with
google translation because I am part of the French communities. In this community there is what I think a rumor. That the 1.13 would be the final version of Minecraft java. Do you have any information for approved or unapproved this rumor?
No one knows. It is something some people say but I can say that it is probably not true. I hope not. Minecraft is the BEST game out there. When the end comes what will we do?
No one official has said anything to suggest this will be the last version. Realistically, I expect the Java edition to be maintained as long as the other platforms are. Currently the people who make new content, such as Jeb, work on the Java edition and then their work is ported over to the Bedrock platform and the other editions. If the Java edition stops getting updates, all the other editions stop getting new content. That's not likely to change any time soon.
According to AntVenom, who was in direct conversation with someone at Microsoft, apparently not only is Team Mojang not ending Java Edition anytime soon but they're expanding development time too.
