That's actually not true. Just tried that and it did not work either.
BTW, the archives are already lower-cased, so that's not the problem.

Why isn't it possible to edit .lang files anymore? I'd love to edit the lang and make it fit my pack better, but the game doesn't recognize it.
Is there any way (or any OTHER way) to do it? Any mods that are required to edit it?

Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
That's the file where the game finds the archives in their directories. Not a language file, unfortunately.
