First off: if this in the wrong section, please let me know. Now, I know that video game addiction is a real thing, but is anyone else addicted to minecraft? Not like "OMG I love Minecraft!", but like has an actual addition that you just shut down or have a withdrawal if you don't play in like a couple days.

When you're going to craft a cake and you forget an ingredient. "He needs some milk!"
It seems to me like the problem would be that you're impatient. Try slowing down and going at a slower pace, and just be at ease. Find other activities to do or just walk out in nature. What is it that you're feeling when you stop playing? What keeps bringing you back?

I mean I love minecraft but i dont start having withdrawls of i dont play it for a while xD Well maybe I do with mods, but no, not vanilla minecraft. But then again, I try to keep it to a minimum, i got those summer goalz yall!
It's not addiction moreso as it's an obsession. Both have the same response, just different causes. With an addiction, your body craves a certain substance that causes dopamine to rush into your body. Obsession attempts the same thing through an external source.
Back to the original topic, I don't think I ever was obsessed with the game. Content I really enjoyed and couldn't find enough of, but the game got dull for me after about a year of it. At 4 years, it was so boring I moved on to other things (friends kept pulling me in, I got absolutely sick of playing).

Meh, I went through like half a year or so without touching Minecraft without problems of any kind.

No...Minecraft isn't heroin.
Yeah, neither is alcohol, but people get addicted to that, too. xD
Me myself, I don't think I'm addicted (I heard that denial is proof. ) I can go a while without playing the game with no side effects.
Alcohol is a legal addictive drug.

So is Minecraft.

Minecraft isn't a drug. It doesn't alter your brain directly.

But it can be addictive, and I'd say that alters your brain.
video game addiction is a thing, and Minecraft is a video game
