I'm 32 and always get a kick out of it when someone who's 18 to 25 or something tells me I'm old (usually half teasingly, and it doesn't bother me anyway). After your mid twenties, I believe your brain stops developing (not to suggest that people ever stop changing), and many years ago, my parents told me that after a point, usually in your 20s, you stop feeling much older, and simply your body ages and the world around you changes. I'm starting to see more and more what they meant.
Yep, I'm well over 30. But I'm probably one of the few who wasn't introduced to Minecraft by my kids, since I don't have any. OK, at one point, my nephew (going to be 10 now) showed me Minecraft, but he didn't even know how to play it at the time, and I didn't pay much attention to it, because I'd already heard of it in relation to Dwarf Fortress, which I was playing at the time. I wasn't interested because I figured it wasn't as detailed.
Now, though, I've stopped playing Dwarf Fortress, and focus almost entirely on Minecraft, because of the whole immersive exploration that I never got in DF. It took me about a year to try Minecraft out. That was almost two years ago, and I've been playing it a lot since then.
Jeez, I never knew you guys were so old! o3o
Nah, it's cool. I love old people. xD
Just remember, You may have to grow old, but you don't have to grow up.
