The last time I was truly addicted and absorbed into Minecraft was about 2 and a half years ago. Since then, I've had short spurts of revived interest, but nothing that lasted a long time. I really want to get back into it, but I just can't. I feel like I've done everything there is to do. Is there truly any way to get back into Minecraft?
Try recreating a town, building, object, place, thing, or even an entire world from a game you like. (Or something else, but it's easier to do it from a game, as you can walk around in the other game and see what you're trying to build.)

Learn to be amazing at pvp, parkour, redstone, and building. Things naturally get more fun from there.
Play Modded MC and provide a challenge for yourself. Like no Magic or no Tech. Or play a really hard pack like Beyond Reality Divergence.
Using mods helped me become interested again and inspired me to make my own.

Try Feed the Beast or ATLauncher. The modpacks usually contain storylines, so they're not all just a collection of mods.
Play a challenge (try Fantasy City).

If you like original building but are feeling uninspired, try this. http://udelle.com/minecraft
Find a server you like. I've only played on Mineplex but it's pretty entertaining for a while.
