So I figured out how exactly to save minecraft worlds onto my USB drive, the %appdata% or run method. The problem is I don't own a computer at home right now so I play minecraft on public library computers that wipe out everything once you log off. I've tried to do the %appdata% or Run method on the library computer but it doesn't work because nothing shows up when I try, I'm assuming because there is restrictions that are preventing me from doing that. So I was wondering if anyone else knows a different way that I could do it through a public computer, or is it possible? I would truly appreciate it.
I know how to run the game from the flash drive, my goal is to be able to save the worlds onto my flash drive because whenever I log out of minecraft and get back on a day later my worlds have been all deleted.
So far only one response after a week, this forum isn't very useful
You can open the hidden folder by launching MC and clicking "open resource pack folder". From there navigate up a folder and then take your worlds. It won't autosave, so do it manually.
