I put together a basic crafting guide in MS Excel. In short, it uses a data validation drop-down list for the user to select the item to be crafted. Nine Index/Match functions then pull the required information into a 3x3 crafting table grid showing the ingredients and placement. I use this while playing, as I find it much faster than looking things up in the Wiki.
I believe I have everything on the list, but I could be wrong. There are 218 options in the drop-down list. Nothing is hidden and there aren't any macros. The attachments show the interface.
I would be happy to share this with the community, but I'm not sure how to go about doing so, as I don't see an option to attach a file to a post. If someone can suggest a way to go about doing this, I would appreciate the help.
Thanks!

Oh, that's a wonderful idea! I am, however, relatively new to Minecraft and have only recently started dabbling with Redstone.
It would be very interesting to put together a guide on how each component works, and how they can be made to interact with each other. If anyone knows of such a guide, I could try to make it interactive in Excel.
I added tabs for "Furnace Transformations", i.e., listing the items that can be produced by a furnace, "Furnace Fuels", which includes fuel efficiency, and "Navigation", which is just a simple compass rose (courtesy of Wikipedia) with X and Z values. Nothing Earth-shattering to be sure, but hopefully someone other than me will find this useful.
I didn't know that using blocks of coal in the furnace was more efficient than individual pieces of coal. 8^ )

Many thanks to BigAlanM!
EDIT 1: This file is in MS Excel 2013 format. If you need a different format, let me know.
EDIT 2: I added tabs for "Furnace Transformations", "Furnace Fuels", and "Navigation".
EDIT 3: I forgot "Redstone Lamp" Duh. Sorry about that.
I just downloaded this .xlsx file and it seems to work well in Excel 2007.
What Reinventor didn't mention is that the workbook has several other worksheets with a wealth of Minecraft reference information.
This is a very nice reference guide.
Thank You, Reinventor!
EDIT:
Some of the other sheets included:
Food Statistics
Enchantment Types
Enchantment Requirements
Brewing Potions
and Village Blueprints which is a list of links to minecraft.gamepedia.com/Minecraft_Wiki:Projects/Village_Blueprints

OOOOOH, this is sweet! I can't say HOW cool this is! Thanks so much for this great tool!
Cool, but not practical for me. I got them all up here. *points to head*
Cool, though. I can see people using this.

Good, but not great. Useful for newbs though.
I'm fine with criticism, but I prefer the constructive sort. What can you suggest to make it great?
Maybe a guide for redstone circuits? Even pro survival players won't exactly remember how to make a NOR gate. But overall, it's cool,
Nice to see you guys again.

Mind if I try that? I'll send you .xls file when I'm done. I love excel.
Nice to see you guys again.
I would be more than happy to collaborate with you on this. It's all for the greater good. 8^ )
I love Excel, too. I've been an Excel geek for the past couple of decades.

This Is honestly....one of the best things ever. I find It much easier to have this pulled up on a separate screen rather than chrome.
Thanks! I'm glad you like it. My daughter and I use this fairly often, as we're both newbies to Minecraft.
If you have any suggestions for improvements, please let me know.
