I enjoyed the GregTech troll face prank. Our base was overrun with millions of troll faces

While I got the sounds all day I had the Steve skin instead of a villager skin all day. Did anyone else have that?
A few people claimed to have Steve skins in place of the Villagers. Not sure why though. On the flip side a friend claims to still have the Villager skins running about.
Well, let me say one thing about this: despite my opinion that an option to turn it off would be quite polite to do, I still see no trouble with how it was worked out now. Why? Because it is just a game and it was just for one day. One day in your entire life that you could not play Minecraft normal. I mean, I thought that I was rigid and inflexible sometimes in my way of doing, but oh boy... It is really fascinating how people can apparantly become mad with such a small thing like this. Whole populations are screaming because of hunger, sickness and disasters that are destroying their homes, many adults and children are quite slaved by us to make cheap stuff or even prostitute themselves, and what is our main problem? A game that is pranked for a day by her developers. Just one game. Just one day. A phrase says that empires are always going down by decadence some day, and it seems to be true right here. I mean, if we already can't handle such a small prank like this, how are we supposed to handle real trouble if they are coming on our way? Minecraft is not the only activity you can do. You can play other games, you can go outside, you can maybe even provide extra help in the household you are living in, you can visit a friend or family member, you can do other good or fun stuff, etc. We have lived millions year without Minecraft, so we can now also perfectly live one day without it. Sometimes you must just see the things in the right perspective. Just try to be more light-hearted in this kind of things, because this kind of small "misfortunes" can open ways to other opportunities. This april fool was really fun for a day and that day is over now. And see, we have survived. The society has not collapsed. We are still here, enjoying our game. I must say, I found the exaggerated reactions on this prank just as hilarious as the prank itself. We have maybe now revealed a little bit of our true nature and that is always good to see.
Have you ever seen a MineCon video? Half the Minecraft population is under 13. Of COURSE people are going to flip out. All I did was chuckle at the new sounds until the "water" sound got annoying and played Kerbal Space Program. Other kids complained and a lot thought it was the server causing this "disaster", and as you know a server's population is it's lifeblood. One of the kids even beleived the Minecraft update news that the 1.9 patch was causing "glitches" with the 1.7.5 causing it to display these sounds. They are kids, what else do you expect but panic? Up until late High School a kid's only real responsibility is typically to be happy and do their chores (if kids even have chores nowadays).
It's not that surpsing though, even adults overreact ALL OF THE TIME. Just read or watch news and you'll be sure to find the latest west-nile virus...hell, they even started NAMING WINTER STORMS as if they were hurricanes. It's ridiculous.
All that and the best you can come up with is to attack grammar? I'm sure I spelt something wrong too.
It wasn't the best I could come up with, but it's my favorite response to poor grammar. It certainly is more polite than "SPELL YOUR WORDS RIGHT, YOU HUMAN GARBAGE AND GO BACK TO SCHOOL BECAUSE YOU CLEARLY NEVER GRADUATED MIDDLE SCHOOL" lol.
