Now we all know that you can summon Giants and Ender Dragons and Green Robe Villagers and you know you can summon any mob in the game but here are 5 you did NOT think you could summon:
1 Ender Crystals
These items only seen in the end can be gotten by summoning because technically it is an entity.
STRING: /summon EnderCrystal
2 Minecrarts
Any type of Minecart from regular to mob spawner to command block cart.
/summon Minecart or for minecart with something: (ex) /summon Minecart
3 Boat
Can be summoned to anywhere but underwater they will not float up
/summon Boat
4 Primed TNT
Can be summoned because they are actively moving when you summon them
/summon Primedtnt
5 Undead/Skeleton Horse
Now I know what you're thinking. Those weren't implemented in the game. They actually were like Giants that didn't spawn naturally.
UNDEAD UNSADDLED: /summon EntityHorse ~ ~ ~ {Type:3} UNDEAD HORSE SADDLED:/summon EntityHorse ~ ~ ~ {Type:3, SaddleItem:{id:329}, Tame:1}
SKELETON UNSADDLED: /summon EntityHorse ~ ~ ~ {Type:4} SKELETON SADDLED: /summon EntityHorse ~ ~ ~ {Type:4, SaddleItem:{id:329}, Tame:1}
Please do not leave negative comments about this post because you already knew you could summon these things. If you know of others that I or other people do not know how to summon fill free to tell me!!!

I already knew all these.
The things that I found interesting were that you could summon Flying Ender Crystals /summon Ender Crystal ~ ~ ~ {Riding:{id:Bat}}
And that you can Summon Creepers with Fuses of 0
Last not least,I would like to show you a trick I learned and that is summoning a rain consisting of arrows.
(You will need lots of command blocks})
Cool. But didn't I say not to leave negative comments about the post if you already knew you could summon these things?
I have noticed is that when some people find information that they think is unknown to the community they will provide that information in a thread titled something along the lines of "Things you didn't know", these threads always get at least one response where someone points out that they already knew everything. I must admit, these types of threads even make me want to point out what I already knew (and I do try my best to only post useful information). I think people reply to threads like this in that manner because the title of the thread implies that the OP thinks they know more then everyone else on the forums.
That being said I am not trying to imply what your intentions or thought process was when you chose your thread title, only trying to point out what I think is a common conclusion people make about threads written in this manner. I sugest that if you do not want people pointing out that they already knew something, you should stop telling people that they didn't know something (wether you told them this intentionally or not). I think that if this thread where renamed to something like "5 Odd things you can summon" you will get few, if any people pointing out that they already knew this.
Well at the time it was the best name i could come up with and i did in the article suggest that some but not all people do not know this. This article was for people that did not know that they could summon these rather then the people that did. In the article I did say that some people did know this (or along the lines of that). And as I said I did still imply that some people already knew this.
Anyone can summon those things with a couple of google searches. Personally, I prefer more creative uses of the summon command... such as decorative armor:
...or a headless horseman:
dude, not a sword D: a jack-o-lantern. then its he headless horseman
Cool. Summoning these things are easy to find with a google search and other things. I just thought I would put them here because some will not end up doing a search for them. Summoning Ender Crystals among various things are fun to do such as a mob riding primed tnt.
No one has any other things that would seem like an unlikely thing you could summon that CAN be found in the game and are not custom mobs?

/summon Arrow ~ ~50 ~
(You have to put it in a command block, the string is too long to type the command in the chat bar.)

You think magic isn't real? Consider this: for every person, there is a sentence -- a series of words -- which has the power to destroy them.
Now THAT is interesting. More interesting than the boring commands in the OP.
...Or just being OP'd in creative mode?
