So I have spent a lot of time on this really cool mini game and before I release it I have one problem! I want to make it so items don't drop and you don't keep items s there anyway to do this is vanilla Minecraft? Please help me! Any suggestion helps! Thank you!
I don't think you can do that in vanilla Minecraft.. Correct me if I'm wrong.. I am not sure.

You are correct, this cannot be done. The only way you can track items dropping is through the "stat.drop" objective-type. This will NOT solve your issue; the score will increment by 1 every time a players drops something. There is no way to detect what the player dropped, how much of what they dropped, or where they dropped it. So unfortunately, there is no solution in vanilla.

Actually, re-reading the topic, I think you may be on the right track. The OP will need to restate what they're looking for, but my assumption is now: when the player dies, they don't drop their items, but their inventory is wiped. If that's the case, it's very possible:
When the player dies, their DEATHS score will increment by 1. The clock mechanism will clear a player if they have a score of 1 or higher of DEATHS, and then follow-up by removing 1 from the players' DEATHS score. This supports multiplayer and multiple deaths.
If you need further clarification on the above, just ask.
