My favorite thing to do would be building my base up. I love improving on my house and I love to discover new inventions made with a combination of blocks to make it look like furniture or a decoration.
You can guess what I like to do from my forum username.
I've even modded the game to make it more fun, to the point where I have doubled the height of terrain so cave systems can have more depth to them, besides making cave systems much bigger and more varied (although it lags so much on chunk generation that I am currently using Minecraft Land Generator to pregenerate a world; taking up to 2-3 minutes for a single 400x400 block area; this is what happens otherwise if you try to run around; I also need -Xss to avoid crashes from stack overflow). Imagine exploring this (if an extreme example of how big they can get; most cave systems are much smaller):
(this is with normal height terrain but when MLG finally finishes I can post a map of that world; cave systems are roughly the same size horizontally but are twice as big overall/vertically)
I have probably also set world records because of this; imagine 9 double chests filled with not coal but blocks of coal, not to mention my worlds average several torches per chunk, including areas I haven't explored yet.
building and decorating (currently building a cottage into a mountain near a waterfall with a gazebo and bridges), exploring, farming, having more pets then needed, collecting and organizing my storage room. I am known to collect things I don't even need. I Suppose I am some what of a MC hoarder. Hmm... Interesting,

Sounds interesting lol... you should post some screenies of the gazebo when finished.
Finding villages and expanding, decorating, and defending them. I also like exploring/adventuring to find things like other villages, temples, dungeons, desert wells, witch huts, etc.
The thing I most enjoy in minecraft is messing with redstone. I love making new inventions and improving on my old.
-Find friend's house
-Be trusted with creative mode
-Fill friend's chests with eggs
-Return the next day with chickens in my house
Anything else you enjoy doing?
Oh, yes! Exploring caves is a lot of fun. Another thing I enjoy doing.
This.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Sounds interesting lol... you should post some screenies of the gazebo when finished.
