Netherrack is the stone on which fire can burn forever. Rain cannot put out its fires. So why is it that if you left click on the fire, it goes out? Way to be eternal. There's no way that your hand does better at putting fires out than the rain. It's a design flaw in Minecraft that has been ignored for years.
