Everyone has phobias. (Except Chuck Norris.) Some of us have phobias in Minecraft. This topic is here to help you expose those fears. It is like therapy with lots of kind, loving individuals helping you overcome your feat and telling you theirs. So, let's get to the point: What is your worst fear in Minecraft? Leave it in the comments section below for all of us kind, loving people.
Well, being the creator of this topic, I suppose I should be first to tell you my fears. My two worst fears in Minecraft are hitting a zombie pigman in the Nether and dying or looking at an enderman. I know, they're kind of lame, but that's what I fear, so deal with it.
My biggest fear is that I'll be returning home at night and I'll lag right at the door to my castle. In my immobile state exactly 5 creepers will approach me (two charged, two normal, one wearing full gold armor with enchanted boots and wielding a stone axe) and blow me up, destroying all of my enchanted items, two stacks of diamond, and everything else of value I might have, as well as putting a hole in my castle wall. I respawn in my tower and would rush to my window and gape in horror as hundreds of hostile mobs would swarm in,taking out the villager population I had so carefully constructed, skeletons would take up positions on the walls and fire down on my iron golems as zombies turned my peaceful testificates. Creepers agitated by stray skeleton arrows would blow up my mooshroom pens and horse stables, causing the poor beasts to roam freely, until the teeming hordes of mobs pushed them into my lava moats. Endermen would pick up and place obsidian blocks, creating a Nether portal which would bring in ghasts which would begin leveling the rest of my castle. Then I would hear the moan and the beating against my door and I would turn around to see my zombie villagers bursting into my room. Their leader, formerly the butcher who traded me saddles, would be wielding my diamond sword "Albarak the unknowably pointy" (Sharpness 5, Knockback 1, Looting and Unbreaking 3) and would kill me in one blow, then camp my spawn again and again and again, protected from the sun by the roof of my tower so that all I could do in that world forever more would be to die above the ruins of my greatest creation.
Then I would wake up and realize that my castle still isn't finished and go back to mindlessly placing blocks for hours.

That was beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

Hello. I hope you're having a nice time on these forums.
Losing my stuff as well as lava. Once when I was on PixelCraft, I fell into lava while I was crossing a bridge in a Nether Fortress. Bad stuff, eh? I was going to stay away from lava as soon as possible - and clearing it out by using one solution: WATER!
My fear is the day Mojang shuts off all their servers because they depleted all their funds to keep them up. No servers, No Minecraft... No... nothing.... just... an error screen telling me that minecraft was unable to run.... unable... to run.....
lets be honest here: one thing we all fear too much for anyone to mention. that nightmare where your on a superflat world made of tnt with a flint and tinder in your hand. soooo tempting.... but what about the diamonds?
I always bring minimal equipment when in the nether because I die there in lava quite a bit. I can't remember the number of times i was tunneling through netherrack, when suddenly lava erupts or the tunnel ends right over a lava lake. I think the fear part is when I'm harvesting glowstone high up on a platform above lava, and a ghast starts shooting at me with no room to manuever.

People see me and think I'm weak. But I can take care of myself, by myself.
