I had a virus in my computer so i had to reset it, but i was wondering if its possible to get your world back somehow.
I know for sure that it's not possible to get it back, but is there some kind of program i could download?

If you mean the Windows 8 Reset computer, no. Not possible.

I don't get it, why didn't you backup your worlds if you knew the computer had a virus? Besides, instead of reformatting the hard drive you could have just used an antivirus program or something. There's no chance of retrieval at this stage, you should have thought about that.

There's pretty much no chance of ever getting it back. If the space in the hard drive where it used to be was used when you reset it's pretty much 100% impossible to get it back.

You should have saved all your stuff before you reset your computer, its gone for good now sorry. Some computers offer to save files before reformatting, you should have selected that. Usually you can copy them without worrying about viruses.

That depends, do you have the world folder stored elsewhere (in a flash drive, in another computer, on the internet, etc.)? If not, then it cannot be recovered. If it is stored elsewhere, you will need to install it. Is it stored elsewhere?
