install it to the 1.4.7 folder like you normally would, delete meta-inf, run Minecraft once, close it, now you should see a "mods folder in your Minecraft directory, put the divine rpg zip file into your mods folder. Done.

EDIT: The new MC Launcher runs things very differently than the old launcher(s). As such, I wouldn't recommended using the newest official launcher for versions below 1.6. As such, take the following information with that in mind.
There are multiple ways to downgrade. Personally, I would recommend a program known as MultiMC to you for anything dealing with 1.5.2 or below. I've used it for quite a long time. MultiMC will also keep your default MC Directory and these downgraded ones separate. While it is 3rd party software, it is very widely known and trusted within the MC and MC Modding community.
Basic features include:
- Allows you to keep separate instances of Minecraft that do not conflict with one another
- Allows you to much more easily install mods without needing to mess with the minecraft.jar manually
- Has a console window that displays while playing MC (good for seeing errors when and if they occur)
- Allows for easy version changing and downgrading for both MC Version and LWJGL
To install Forge and DivineRPG using MultiMC:
Create a new Instance and set the version to 1.4.7. Run the instance once so everything is generated properly, then exit the game.
Right-click the created instance in MultiMC, and choose "edit mods". A window with multiple tabs should appear.
In the Minecraft.jar tab, tell it to download Forge. MultiMC will automatically only list versions of Forge for the currently-selected instance, so download the one with the highest number on the end.
Go to the "Mods Folder" tab. Drag the entire .zip (or .jar) file containing DivineRPG into this area. You do not unzip this file.
Close the "Edit Mods" window, and run the game again. Both Forge and DivineRPG should now be installed to your game.
Enjoy
Feel free to PM me if you have more questions. Just not that, considering there's a lot to explain with manual installations (and plenty tutorials showing how to do just that), I won't be answering how to install mods manually.

Thank you so much, will PM you about one thing in a minute.
Don't mind me for asking... but what exactly is 'this'? Seems like a direct download link.
It is a mod installer and version changer. You don't have to download mods on forums because the mods are already on it. It also tells about the mods and what they require. Sorry for the direct download the home link won't work.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that who cares? He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!
Do I install mods to it like I used to do? Go into /versions/1.4.7/ then open the 1.4.7.jar with winrar, and put the files in?
Can someone please further assist me on this...? How would I install mods onto a 1.4.7 version properly?
It should work exactly the same. You could always try it out?
I just tried adding TMI files to the .jar of my 1.4.7 version and it didn't work.

Didn't work.
Try this tutorial with a FRESH install of Minecraft
Except when he goes into his Minecraft.jar you would go into your versions/ 1.4.7 folder.
Not even picking up forge... I'm not stupid.
