I recently the minecraft forums, so please correct me if I put this post in the wrond section.
I recently finished extragagantly renovating my village inb singleplayer and suddenly decided that I do not like my house anymore. At first I like living on a house overlooking the villege, but the population will increase well over 1000% and I cant really expand anymore. My house is on a hill and is a labyrith of rooms, farms, and I structures just below the surface. It works fine, but I think I could and should do better. AI have pretty much cleaned that hill out and the only place left to go is down, but I dont want to do that.
I want to move a couple hundred blocks away and build a new hill more organized than my last house; with that I added room on as needed, but my tree farm is not in an ideal spot with my wood working room on the other side of the house just to name one example. I need people to tell me rooms so I do not have to mess up the design once I have built.
Here is what I will have so far.

I will automate everything as much as possible so it is really cool and easy, but not too much. I want to look like a guy who rose out of nothing, not like ruler of the world. I dont want my mine in my house or it migt be breached while working. I dont want a mob grinder; takes the work out of killing them. I hate the hostiles but I consider them people too just of a different faction. I will have chest just for melons and pumpkins with a dropper connecting it to my auto farms. I dont want a mobe collection; too dehumanizing. No pet spider, I want my house secure.
I want rooms that would just be live in, no archery, no indoor pool (I will have a pool outside though).
My house will be connected to other areas by branching minecart lines with at least one house in every biome I find and put villages all over. My mine will be on here.

Construction is underway. The block storage floor is complete and the crafting floor is being capped. Any other suggestions for rooms which do not involve, crafting, smelting, or decorative block storage (soil, cobblestone, glowstone, etc.)
Any help besides combining rooms would be appreciated. Combining rooms would not work for me. The list has changed with some rooms added and some removed.

Carve out a size and shape you like, fill with the above. Smoke will rise like steam and you'll sink up to you're chin. You can stylize it to look like a bath house, or a natural cave, or a dragon's mouth or whatever. Makes for a nice aesthetic room. Potentially you can place it in a nearby mountain if it seems to much like an outside pool.
A game room with a pool table, some arcade machines, etc might be cool. A rave room could work, as well. A couple of guest rooms couldn't hurt. And if you go with all that, you might want to invest in a dungeon for the more unruly party guests.
Aquarium, now that name tags will keep the squid you get from despawning and a walk-in freezer in your kitchen might work as well. A badass dino skeleton in your library or a 'museum' room never hurt anyone. etc etc

Well I finished the crafting floor after about 2 months of construction; now I need to cap it off. Should the ceiling be 2 blocks high or 3 blocks high? A two block high roof will prevent endermen from spawning, but it will feel cramped. I do not know which to chose. I am going to have snow golems patroling, but there are so many rooms they will not be able to get all the endermen when it rains. Any ideas if anyone is still looking at this post?
Personally I prefer 3 blocks. Endermen aren't exactly silent and only pose a threat if you anger them, so one chilling in my house really isn't a bother at all.
Now a cramped house, on the other hand, is just plain uncomfortable and leaves less room for furnishing. Personal preference, of course.

Minecraft 1.7 mean that I will need more rooms; luckily, I built extra crafting rooms in my house so I should not need to expand for some time. I will make a new list of rooms which has been updated since my last list.
The bunker room is the panic room.I decided on a three high ceiling by the way. I have almost torched the floor up, then I will add the roof and make the next floor. Anyone want pictures?
