I've said this about a year ago. When minecraft became "Fully Released", I did a face palm. The game was NOT ready for that. Still isn't. Look how much has changed in the past major updates
IMO Minecraft will NOT be considerable as Final Release untill 2.0 comes out, it just doesn't make sense why Mojang did this. The game was not done, and still isn't. Too many bugs and unfinished features.
While I love Mojang and the gang, I'm still very disapointed in them for making that choice.
It might not seem like a big deal to you guys... but image if you went out and say... bought a new copy of GTA V (Assume it is out for this). You're totally ing excited as hell to get to driving and playing around...but...
You get into the game only to realize there is stuff missing...and some stuff isn't working yet or doesn't work well. No worries! Says Rockstar! It's a full release!
See my point? It's different because a lot of us from Alpha and Beta have followed the game so the development cycle feels normal... but to call it full release so early? No.
I honestly feel like we should petition to renouse the full-release status and have it be an Advanced State Beta (ASB). Untill around 2.0
I say 2.0 because it seems like how the development is going it will be around that time when the game will be polished up enough to be considered full release.

I think you assume people are going to give more of a damn about your opinion than is reasonable to expect. I also think you're a petty whiner who enjoys the attention that said whining provides you.
I think your GTA V analogy is erroneous and as such your argument weak.
"Full release" is something of a formality. They left beta because the game was demonstrably no longer a beta, and hadn't been for some time. If I remember correctly, the entire reason they did it when they did was because they couldn't reasonably describe it as a beta any longer, even if they weren't finished doing things with it at the time.
The game was more or less perfectly playable as a standalone game at the time, whether they continued to do updates or not.
So what more could a different 'full release' do? Not a whole lot, unless that coincided with the end of development. And the end of official development would be the beginning of the end of the game's popularity, in my opinion. The modding community could pick up some of that slack, but if it ever got to the point where you had to look around and say, "Well, what mods can I add now to make this game interesting again?" then you'd probably quickly just stop playing entirely.
What is this I don't even
Basically, you're saying that since Minecraft has a few bugs and some features that haven't been implemented yet, it's not a full release. By that logic, we'll never see a full release of Minecraft. There'll always be a new addition to the game as long as it's making money. And that's a really, really long time. I also find your GTA V comparison stupid. If Minecraft has some unimplemented features, it's fine. They'll be in a future update. If GTA V is missing 87% of it's features, people will demand refunds for every Rockstar game they purchased, and likely bankrupt them.

Considering most popular commercial games that come out cost $50-60 and this one is roughly half that, I don't see the problem. It is very playable as it is and no one is charging for these updates--they're free to whoever has already purchased the game so I don't understand what the OP's beef is. If the game is that bad, just go play something else and stop whining. Who cares what the developers want to call it.
The fact that it's considered full release means nothing, it's just a title. Changing it back to say beta or something would do nothing. What was the difference between alpha and beta?
Imagine how awkward it would be to announce that. "We are sad to say that Minecraft is no longer full release and is actually in Beta... again. We have made this decision due to the fact we have too many bugs, and Locklear308's petition. " Think about it, that would be highly unlikely.
Totally agree with you, minecraft has so many bugs but I don't know if it has unfinished features (maybe I missed them but please state them to me). AntVenom said that in Alpha minecraft was more like to be a compete game in alpha than now. I didn't play alpha so I don't know, if it is true or not.
Thank you for your feedback. For example villagers had no use at full release.

They don't need to make a big deal about it now. It was just silly to make a big deal about "Full Release". 1.0 Full Release is extremely differant from 1.5
Features, bug fixes and such.
There will always be bug, we all know that and I do acknowledge that.
calling a game a full release give the mojang team more money.
They are still updating it so who cares what it is called?
They will evolve it even further even if it is not needed, love the new features but do we need them? No!
But we like the updates for sure, expanding the game even more.
The game is already great or else it would not have sold in millions of copy's.
In what way are you saying something is missing? Minecraft is already at 100% but they keep expanding it each update.
or are you just interested in saving a couple of bucks for buying a beta game? Who knows.
No, the game is not 100%. That's my point. With 1.5 coming out, it's more like 85% complete.
Villagers didn't have any use at full release. One big example

Bats don't NEED a use. They're aesthetic. Based off that logic, we only need one type of sandstone, and no mossy cobblestone, as those are just aesthetic.
When Minecraft was announced to be Fully Released, I thought that meant no more updates. There are still updates that add in new things, meaning not Fully Released in my perspective.

Furthermore, "some things" and "some" aren't too specific...What "game breaking/not release" bugs are we talking about?

They were never intended to have a use. They were added for the Pretty Scary update, and cave aesthetics.
