There's always that thing that you wish Minecraft had it may be pointless but you still want it
(1)AETHER added to Minecraft(I know Notch wants to but it would take a very long time)
(2)Mo' Creatures added to Minecraft......I love all those animals
(3)HORSES(goes along with Mo' Creatures but still)
(4)Monkeys(give those jungle biomes a use, let us train monkeys XD)
(5)add bacon.......no questions just add bacon...
TELL ME YOURS I WANT TO KNOW
(1) TRAINS/MOAR MINECARTS: We need faster minecarts or trains.
(2) SHIPWRECKS: That...would...be...awesome.
(3) FIREWORKS: Awesome for servers!
(4) THE ACHIEVEMENT AND MOD IN MY SIGNATURE: *places TNT* Achievement Get! Jamie want big boom. (awesome mythbusters twist :3) And, booooom TNT RAAAAAIIINNN
(5) Pizza: Reason: WE KNEAD PIZZA
1. Seasons
2. Atmospheric mobs such as birds, squirrels, fishes, and rabbits.
3. Seasonal farming
4. Genetics in breeding
5. Metallurgy (not the mod)
I'll die happy if all these were added into the game. I'm actually thinking of learning how to code and try to make a perfect game (for myself) or a mod for Minecraft.
Note: I openly acknowledge that spaceships would not be a good addition to the game of Minecraft for several reasons. But it would be SO AWESOME!

Minecraft...the best OCD simulator the world has ever seen.
1. Redstone updates, Redstone wires from redpower and redstone gates from powercraft. Redstone has been the same since beta. Laggy, unfixed, limited. Repeaters only solved a few things.
2. Timber mod added to the game. Won't effect player placed blocks. No more floating trees.
3.Anti-void fog torches/lamps wiith a range of 50 blocks in all directions. Everyone HATES THIS. No one likes the void fog and there is nothing at y-5 you don't find at y-15
4. Build craft pump/liquid tanks. Cauldrons are lame, I don't care you gave them the ability to collect rain water in a game with unlimited water sources in two buckets that cost less iron to make. Wart grows in the regular world now, I don't need to make potions in the nether anymore.
5. Optifine. As old as this mod is, it should have been added into minecraft the same time smoothlighting was.
Most of the things I'd add to the game are things that game should have had already.
1) Custom maps, much like flat map customisation in the snapshot, except also for default and large biomes. Difference is that unlike flat maps the terrain would still be rugged and uneven, but it would still be to your custom specifications. Not sure if it's doable or if it's only possible in flat maps.
2) Custom biomes - build your own trees that you want to see generated, add your own sprites, fiddle with sliders and the game generates it all for you. An unrealistic wish, but it would be cool. Minecraft ain't enough of a sandbox for me yet.
1) haystacks that breed a few animals automagically. can be deployed with dispensers.
2) Redpower... I seriously think there needs to be more features to Redstone, It's way too complicated to make big doors.
3) a "cloud" world for your minecraft client that you can play from any computer you use.
4) torches that burn out, and lanterns that are craftable with netherrack/glowstone.
5)Better Wolves mechanics. I breed mine enough to where they don't sit at home, but I still would like it possible to make a home point on them that they will wander around while they protect your home.
After more thinking, The number 1 thing I'd add to the minecraft is..... Updated minecraft forums..A layout where everyone's posts/avatars are much smaller and theres 5x-10x as many messages per page.
Trying to make a point or discuss something if you didn't write the op message is soooo pointless. And it gets darn old fast making points and then next page and then the same points come up.
Thats one thing I'd like really added to minecraft. Because it makes everything else a headache.
1 - More stuff to improve Redstone (such as Redstone Blocks that can transmit power, as well as vertical redstone, and that's not even getting into the actual redstone devices)
2 - More biome-specific mobs (sharks in oceans, lizards in deserts, etc.)
3 - More food items (such as Mutton and Calamari)
4 - More options for the graphical settings. To those who insist upon modification names, that's "Optifine".
Make the Powered Minecart appealing instead of usless compared to powered rails. (it's cheaper than powered rials...jsut less reliable by far
Useless? Unreliable? How so? It pushes many minecarts at the same time (6 or more) It can now climb steep hills. If you put it down on a track of unpowered minecraft rails and feed it a charcoal it moves slow enough to give you time to get in a minecart infront.
You don't have to use a single bit of redstone wiring and powered rails are vastly more expensive and you have to make sure none of the spaces are too far apart...The longer the distance you need to go, the more powered minecarts are the better option. And better yet you can find minetracks free in mineshafts. So the only real cost is a few logs and the minecarts.
If it does move too slow for you on the hills you can add a few powered rails just to that stretch instead of the entire track.
1. Pourable Milk (That would be awsome!)
2. Time Rifts (I`m probrably the only one who wants a portal to the future world of destruction...)
3. Different TNT (Just a small boom won`t do it for me!)
4. Easier Stair, Wood, Slab Placing (I find it quite annoying when I try five times to place stairs at a certain angle to get it a certain way.)
5. More World Options (I feel that this feature is a bit shallow and could be used more if there were more options, like customization of regualer or already made worlds!)
!: Roof blocks
So we dont have to use stairs
2: Wires to go in blocks
To make better house lighting without being on the block, or without redstone
3: Obsidian tools
To pwn stuff
4: Customizable biomes
So people could make new epic biomes
5: Real clothes
To look boss on multiplayer
1. LISTEN TO COMMUNITY FEEDBACK. Too many times they haven't and stupid things like the uselessness of the End, stupid looking villager models, SSp/SMP merge lag issues, etc. have gone unnoticed while they continue on adding crappy features that add nothing to the game except MORE lag.
2. Boats Evolved: We need better stuff than the cardboard boxes we have now. This actually fits with MC, unlike spaceships, etc.
3. Mod API: STOP DELAYING IT. It's been 2 years now with no progress at all pretty much. When will it be finished, a year from now?
4. Standalone app for importing .schematic files and creating them. Why do we still have to rely on MCEdit?
5. (and this is the most important) When releasing an update, don't release little half-assed features. Get stuff done, even if you can't cram it all into one update for a release date.
