Whats a good way to increase FPS while recording. Cause when i am recording i dont actually get lagg when i play however when i watch the recorded video there is massive amounts of lagg
Well, my fps usually varies from around 200 to 450 or so. But it's with the default texture pack and no mods.
In some special cases it might even drop to 100.
Oh and Laptop usually at 70 fps.
I have a lower end pc (it's about 6-7 years old). Before I upgraded some hardware, I would be fortunate enough to get 10 fps (it was unplayable without optifine). Now I get a solid 20-55 fps. But if there's lots of mobs on screen, or if I log into a server that has a massive spawn point with lots of blocks being used, it plummets back down to 10 fps again.
The only way I would believe that is if you play on superflat with tiny render distance and optifine cranked down to the lowest settings, with a computer built within the last few months.
30-70 FPS with an HD texture pack and fancy, normal settings
i seriously doubt the 1000FPS things. you could only get that with like a $2000 custom built computer. and even then you'd only get like... 700. and especially that 3500 FPS. that's kind of impossible... but anyway, back on topic.
I usually get around 60 frames with max settings. with 100 on max in 1.3.2. BLOW UP ALL TEH VILLAGES!!!

exactly. iv'e never seen a computer that can run MC with 1000 frames. even the best minecraft youtubers don't run it that high. probably 100 at most.

Sounds like a problem with the recorder you are using and your hardware.
I don't think you should trust the Minecraft FPS numbers when you start getting above 300-400 FPS. Then you should use a tool like Fraps instead.
Minecraft has a video option for performance that can influence FPS and I think the default value is Balanced. With that I get about 180 FPS (Fraps). If I change performance to fast it increases a lot, but it depends a great deal on what I do and where I am in Minecraft. A Jungle is very different from a small cave.
Other things to take into consideration are; your screen resolution, number of monitors, windowed mode, software running in the background. I often have youtube showing me an episode of MindCrack in full screen on my second monitor at 30 fps and that is bound to affect the FPS I get in Minecraft.
3600 HOLY CRAP

Don't feel bad I get anywhere between 0-30 in the 50s on a good day under ground... >.<
400 FPS with it.
Nothing to complain about... Nothing to really talk about either.
Also, 80 - 120. ( Not bad for a GT530 )
Lol You got me at the part, I would of just said, "Minecraft classic, bro."
