I got some nice worlds saved and some old config files from mods that haven't been updated yet. Also some active mods installed. I also have LBPhoto Realism at 16x, 32x, 64x and 128x. It's because my laptop has settings in place to reduce the power of processors to save power when it isn't plugged in

bin: 46.4MB (I keep backups of pretty much all the versions ;))

I only had a couple textures packs in my .minecraft folder also, and only one or two worlds that I had just started.
It was clean except for the mods I installed which made it take up that much. (Not even any screen shots)
EDIT: It's currently at 5 GB...
It's because I've been using Minema and all of videos added up to quite a lot.

But on topic, mine is exactly 2GB, and that includes a spare copy of all my world saves, which there is about 15 of them
