59-63 FPS on Singleplayer world with Fancy graphics, max brightness all particles, smooth lighting, normal render(if I go above normal I get lagspikes of 10-20 FPS every few seconds, and I don't use my 64-bit Java), Max FPS performance(desktops for the win! Unlimited power to Minecraft!), clouds on, and bobbing on.
So pretty much average FPS for my average settings for my average computer. Woo!
I normally get around 80 fps, everything on high with a normally resolution texture pack. My compute isn't amazing 3gb ram, Intel T9300 duo. But I am looking into getting alien ware soon!
I have a Radeon6870. I run water shader and get average of 50 FPS aswell as using Ovo's Rustic texture pack.
I have 8GB Ram.
AMD Phenom II (I think it's Phenom...) Quad Core 3GHZ
I max at around 100 fps with 24x edge-detect anti-aliasing, and zero stutter. (My AA removes all jaggies and graphical imperfections everywhere.)
I can run hd texture mods easily, but I typically don't because that leads to stutter which I believe is a result of software limitations in MC itself.
I can run Skyrim maxed with tons of great graphical mods (no stutter) so that's what leads me to believe that my stutters with hd textures in minecraft are a result of software limitations.

Alienware is overpriced, and you would get much more if you build it yourself
10-30 on both vanilla and modded with lowest settings.

10 to 20 - when on normal/short render distance
15 to 30 - tiny with some Optifine installed
And that runs on my pc:
Amd Athlon xp 2200+
512 mb ram
Geforce Fx 5200 64 mb (It was 128 mb before but I don't know what happened on it). :dry.gif:
At later times there can still be lag spikes though.
My last computer only made it up to about 20. :tongue.gif:
