First off, apologies if this is in the wrong section.
Now, for my problem.
I was derpity derping along in a new Flatland world I'd generated, and started creating an adventure map. After some complicated redstone wiring, I broke through the bedrock and fell out of the world. I respawned somewhere random and I have no idea how to find my building back. :sad.gif:
Do any of you know of some third-party programs that could locate and give me coordinates for a specific block? Like a program that would find a piston block and give out coordinates for it or something?
Or maybe you have other ideas on how I can get back to my adventure map? :S
The thing about flatland spawning is there's no block at y=63 to make your spawn consistent. Either place a block at y=63 directly above your spawn point (you won't spawn on it, don't worry) or use MCEdit to take care of it. That way, it won't be random.
A cartographer of some sort sounds like a good idea. Can anyone link me to one that works with 1.1? One with the option to only show explored chunks would be useful too. :biggrin.gif:
it happened to me too. its so frusterating!!!! i had an awesome clay soldiers arena with trenches and a river and bases but i dug past the and into the :sad.gif: :sad.gif: :sad.gif:
if none of these suggestions work use MCedit and fly around the areas with the checkered bottom an you should find it ..if you have enough knowledge try using Tectonicus and make a map of your world an you should find it very easy .but it might take a little while since it has to make the map an depending on how big your world is it could take 20 minutes to 6 hours if you world is HUGE .. you can't find it after trying all of these then you might have to make a new world but you might check with a moder to see if he can make you a map with Tectonicus ..as soon as I finish loading mine I will be happy to make you one if you would like ...but I'm not a moder but my friend set tectonicuz up for me so I could make maps ..if you would rather not trust someone else to make you a map because you would rather then not have a sneak peak at your adventure map then you will have to try one of the early suggestions
