I heard that minecraft full version was released. Eagerly, I booted up my laptop and started up a new world. One of the biggest dissapointments was the fact that there are no rare drops from mobs. Come on, rotten flesh?
I truly hope that in a future release, Mojang adds some rare drops from mobs. It would make the game so much more exciting having multiple drops from a mobs rather than the same ol crap we've been getting since alpha.
Mob: Slime
Drop: Something rare. They're too rare to just drop slimeballs.

OP does actually say both "same since alpha" and "come on, rotten flesh?", so it is reasonable to assume that you meant that we've been getting rotten flesh since alpha. Which we didn't. Bones and Rotten Flash are rather new.
Also, I think nat creeper was SUGGESTING that they drop those items, not declaring that they do.
Finally, yes, I think some rare drops would be interesting. I believe someone made a mod that among other things adds occasional armor drops from skellys.

Manly blood is both highly acidic AND highly basic, but I'm glad to see you're paying attention.

Now, if you're going to tell someone they know nothing of reading, I would hope you would have the mental capacity to back up your petty insults. The person you were actually quoting read your original post in the grammatically correct English usage. Thus meaning, that your earlier mention of "rotten flesh" would follow over to your next statement of "crap we've been getting since alpha".
Now, next time you attempt to insult one's intelligence on an online discussion board, please be sure it was not you that was in the wrong. It just makes you look like a silly goose.

Two isolated ideas, hence being in two paragraphs. Why does it even need to be said that it was not added in alpha? I did not directly say that, nor did anyone else on the thread. Why is there the need to troll the thread with some know-it-all behaviour. "same ol crap since alpha" is just emphasizing the fact that not much has changed in mob drops over the course of the development, while "rotten flesh" is just stating the fact that the drops are rather lame. I was not intending insult, I was merely deflecting a rude assumption back to 4chan - but good try.

However considering that the topic of which you were ranting was followed from the original paragraph to the second paragraph, it is grammatically correct to have the logical assumption that the ideas herein the first paragraph are directly linked to the following statements in the second paragraph. I'm not trolling you, I'm simply defending a member of higher grammatical output from unneeded and ill-based insults. Good try.

The paragraphs are two isolated ideas, barely any carry-over. The first paragraph is about my experience realizing that there were no rare drops added to the final release, while the second paragraph is a wishful thought about future releases. So the paragraphs are not directly linked - other than the fact that they're both about loot drops. I'm going to end this little dispute by saying that I think your grasp on grammar is fantastic (*clap clap*) and you should get a cape designed with a big "L" on it and call yourself the defender of trolls, because that is essentially what you just did. I'll let you figure out what the L stands for.

I never seen a skeleton drop a bow without the use of multiplayer plugins or mods... Same with the golden swords of the Zombie Pigmen.
dum bass
I'm a fish for saying that Skeletons and Zombie Pigmen don't drop their weapons? Then prove that I'm wrong without using mods or a multiplayer plugin.
I never said rotten flesh was in alpha, did I? You know nothing of reading.
No, nothing of the sort was promised. I just assumed they would add more drop dynamics in the full release version because the drops now are lame.
Also, I think nat creeper was SUGGESTING that they drop those items, not declaring that they do.

Really? Let's see..

1) Play Alpha (since you clearly haven't)
2) Then play 1.0.0
3) Then come back here and complain about not having "rare drops".
I haven't played Alpha, but I can tell you from when I started at Beta 1.4, I'm more than happy with what we've got and I don't need "rare drops".
Making potions and enchantments is fun enough for me.
He's suggesting that as a rare drop. Which is the point of the thread. He's not saying that's the current in game state.

Now stop polluting my thread please.
Oh, you don't feel the need to add rare drops?
Oh, you love making potions and using enchantments?
Good for you.
