But i voted seananners, his videos were the first i watched and by that time i realised what minecraft would become.
I am confused, you played a MMO but you couldn't purchase things online?

By this time i had completely forgot what Minecraft was (this was a little bit before summer) so as usual one day i was messing around on the internet and i came across the Yogscast.I watched their survival island series and Iinstantly fell in love with the game again and started remembering it.
So this sparked a VERY long addiction to Minecraft and i began obsessed with the Yogscast series, so then i started bugging my parents asking if i was allowed to buy Minecraft myself. But they always said no. So one day I had to stoop as low as saying it was educational. They were pretty annoyed how i was asking 24/7 and finally let me buy it. The ONLY thing i didn't like about Minecraft that i had never thought of before was LAG. I run on possible the WORST laptop you can think of so i was pretty annoyed.
Over the next few months leading up to today i made about a thousand changes to increase performance to Minecraft. It increased a good 15 FPS.
I am still hooked on it and i am getting a gaming computer this Christmas. That will fix all lag and problems to the game. I have told a few close friends about Minecraft (maybe 4) and they actually enjoy it and play it. We have spread the word about Minecraft and we have convinced a couple other classmates to buy Minecraft. :wink.gif:
And that is my story.
Long post is long haha.
I ended up playing Terraria with my boyfriend for a few weeks on the recommendation of one of our close friends, and heard a lot of people mentioning that Terraria is basically Minecraft with 2D graphics. I was okay with Terraria's graphics because they're cute and stylized, however Terraria eventually got boring.
Finally, I stumbled across Ben Yahtzee Croshaw's review of the game and got a much better idea of what Minecraft actually was. I was significantly intrigued but still not enough to get over the unattractiveness of the graphics, and Minecraft got pushed to the back of my mind for a little bit longer.
Finally, a couple of friends ganged up on me and convinced me to buy it. We play together on a private multiplayer server and enjoy talking about the game together and showing off our creations. Now I use custom texturepacks and I'm not really bothered by the graphics at all. :tongue.gif:
