I was wondering if it would be possible to play minecraft on two different computers (with one account) after the full release. I'm assuming (and hoping) that the full release will act like a beta update, and allow you to download it from the launcher etc, but I'm not sure. Has anyone heard anything?
Tested, and it doesn't work. The server that you are on runs the ID of the person, and if there are two identical ID's obn the same server, the first one on will be logged off.
Could you yourself play Minecraft on two different computers at separate times? Yes. Could you and someone else log on to the same account on two different computers and try to play? I would hope not.
From what I know, you can play Survival Single Player using one account on two computers at the same time. I let my friend try Minecraft with my account (made him buy it btw ^^), and if I remember correctly, I logged in at the same time on that same account to play, but we were both on Single Player. So I think that would be the extent. Oh, and maybe one person could be on Single Player and the other on SMP at the same time, but I doubt they can be on the same SMP server with the same account (or even on SMP together in general).
