I miss being a noob, falling in lava pits.. waiting for the sun to rise, falling in lava pits.. staying inside my house, staring at creepers through windows, dying unexpectedly.
Such amazing times, too bad I know 95% of recipes and I can pretty much survive forever..
perhaps knowledge isn't always the best thing.
I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body, and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to death, Nor known to life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works
Just hit yourself hard enough to make you forget about everything.
I do it all the time and I have naehtaudf wronga swtihtas me!

When I saw the topic title, I knew exactly what the tread would say, And I agree wholly and completely with you. I miss the feeling of exploration.
I disagree with your opinion. I don't want to get a brainwash, not at all. As players, we have learned how to handle ourselves within the world of Minecraft.
Now what I like to do, is try out a few seeds, texture packs, mods... Especially some mods really twist the game around and make you feel like a total noob again. Even if you don't want that kind of content, one world in Minecraft is giant and you can keep exploring new areas, biomes, villages, strongholds, mineshafts, monster caves... And everywhere you go you can shove buildings out of the bare soil with your own two hands, and own it like a man!

i still get the feeling of exploration since each new map has been filled with new and more interesting terrain, and mines and ravines certainly make cave diving more interesting than before.
I would definitely get a minecraft brainwash ONLY if EVERYONE on the earth would. Being a noob among all these pro people suck and this is what i liked from the good old alpha time, when the game shined at its best and a lot of people like seananners and X started playing it.

If you thought I had anything useful to say
Now that you know everything... survival isn't as challenging as it was when you started Minecraft.. so it's boring for us.
That's an easy fix.

JK but it was funny
I have only played 3 days now in minecraft and this mod made it 100% fun for me
Nope, that's a mod.. not the real Minecraft.
