I believe I have found a way around the recent single use bug. Simply place the tool in a chest and then withdraw it. I tsted this with stone tools and it worked. If some other people woyld be willing to test this so it can be conclusive evidence, I woyld be grateful.
Nice find! That's going to be helpful to a lot of people. Don't suppose you found a way around the lighting problems and lag in SMP as well, eh? :smile.gif:
