Is it just me or can MineCraft go from being a calm and relaxing game to the most terrifying game of all time? I mean take this as an example. I'm walking through a cave minding my own business when out of no where, I'm face to face with a Creeper/Zombie/Skeleton. This happens every time I play MineCraft and it scares the crap out of me every time, and don't even get me started on the creepy music that pops up every once and awhile!
Anyways, is it just me? Please tell me its not just me or I'll feel like a complete wuss...
ure not alone :smile.gif:
i **** in my pant the first night :tongue.gif:
im never gona build a home under a small hill :sad.gif:

after a while you only get a heart attack from a creeper next to you :smile.gif:

i think the scariest thing is the creeper you dont see, the ones that explode when youre least expecting it. i swear this is the only game that has ever made me jump.

Watch how I beat the living lights out of a creeper
I was scared of the monsters in Minecraft. Until I made a Mob farmer and mob killer. Now I see their tearful eyes as they go up a tube in the middle of my house, praying me for mercy, knowing they are no more than farm animals for me.
:biggrin.gif:
I played the game on peaceful fow a few months, so i could make myself an anti-zombie castle. After that and a bit of screwing around. I finally am playing on normal. I just hope that creepers don't mess up my castle walls.
Requesting the video of the guy who was mining diamonds near a pool of lava when a creeper crept up behind him and blew up! I believe he was doing a livestream, because on youtube it seemed like he was talking to himself.
I hit my scary time when I was totally lost in a seemingly endless twisty cave with many branches and a lot of changes in elevation. I was totally lost. I considered just digging up to the surface. I was stuck for like 3 hours flailing around.
Finally just started blocking off dead ends and branches until by process of elimination I backed myself back to my initial entrance. I was so relieved!!
I'm a big fan of survival horrors and apparently it seems minecraft actually is one.
I've jumped quite a few times from ninja creepers popping up out of no where and exploding.
I was tunneling through a dungeon few days ago and when I dug into an empty room 2 creepers fell from ceiling behind me and exploded. They blew a huge hole to a pit of lava below me and I almost fell in. Scared the crap outa me. XD
Must admit that I get confused by the effect MC has on me in the "omg you are such a girl!" area. Thing is, no other game does this to me! I can play your so called modern scary games with 'awesome' GFX and stuff and I rarely jump, mostly never. Minecraft however, very different story.
Spiders, even in the day freak me out and cause my hairs to stand on end.
Underground mobs scare the **** out of me half the time and I get decidedly nervy after a few hours mining and then hearing all the noises.
Running from one house to another at night causes me to swing my head around quite franticly, just incase there is yet another goddamn creeper chasing me after suddenly appearing from nowhere behind me!
Yeah I'm sure that half the time I'm playing minecraft like I'm in a SWAT team, checking every corner before I got round, always on my toes.
It doesn't do me any good, at all.
HA! Thats me too. Not that scary by todays standard. I've played every FPS ever made, so it comes naturally to expect the ssssssBOOM! + 10 years of playing pro UT preped me to hit anything at very long ranges with the bow :tongue.gif: . Hmmm now that I think about it, Minecraft is kinda like the old FPS Doom. Scary as hell when it came out, dark caverns, scary sounds, BOO> Ahhh effect/. MC gets a 10 from me , no other game like it .
The Nether caused me to crap my pants the first time I went in. I never expected ghasts to be so big. Just like... a block big. When I saw one up close I SCREAMED.

I would have a Rainy Day texture pack image here, but it was too big.

I hate the spray and pray arrow fight against several skeletons concealed in the darkness.
