Just put up a list of things you would like to see in the next update, then i will make a poll with the top 5 most suggested things and hopefully will see :smile.gif:
Also, keep it simple, anything from world features, new mobs, weapons, furniture. Anything realistically small and non game changing so that it can be easily implemented in the next update :smile.gif:
I would either like to see birds, some mechanic to go with redstone, or a water switch.
I just don't want to restart my map again. Every time a new block is added, I have to restart my map. I like to explore and my maps are usually huge so to get the blocks in the world I have to go waaayyyy out to generate new chunks.
Theres many other topics that say the same thing as this.
OT: I would like to see Notch put pistons in 1.6. Dont have the patience to wait till 1.7 :smile.gif:.
Adding pistons are useless.
Adding the powered tracks are good.
If you're mining, you could send your minecart with a chest full of goodies when your inv is full.
We need things that will be good.
-Wolves drop wolf meat
-Slimeballs can actually make something.
-More mobs
-Fixing the bugs
-Zombies actually drop something good instead of a feather
-More items
Those are actually useful.
Hm...this might be game-changing but I would like to find a way for minecarts or anything traveling on the rail could somehow "travel" through un-loaded chunks. Even if it just teleported to its end destination with X amount of wait time. I was kinda sad when I found out I had to walk with my carts all the way back to my outpost.
many people might dislike this but personally i would like to see npc villages
in these villages u can be given quests and have open dialect meaning you can say what you want and they will understand their is a game coming out that has open dialect so i know it is possible maybe the quests could be like find diamonds, save the village from zombies or something like that and maybe you can choose to burn it down and the people will become hostile but if not i would like all the stuff in my sig
im prepared to wait for all of this i dnt really care if it doesnt happen but it would still be cool if it did

But then again, that's just me I suppose.
Nope, I think this is a fantastic idea. With the size of most worlds, its only natural for you to want your mine cart to reach a fair distance.

Id like to see some kind of mount, it would be rare to find one but worth the look. Like wolves youd have to give it some treats for you to ride it or keep it as a pet. 8)
More Achievements. Pretty sure it'll happen anyways, but that's just what I'd like to see. And achievements that aren't so easy to get, either.
Development in the Nether. Its an awesome place the first few times you visit it, but after a while it gets boring as hell. Its barren and doesn't really offer anything that great besides glowstone (that's just my opinion, you're entitled to your own). The Nether needs to actually FEEL like its a real alternate realm, rather than just another world Notch built to make people happy for a bit.
Zombies should drop something besides feathers. Yes, this has been of much debate for a while now. Zombies need to drop SOMETHING besides feathers. It just seems so stupid that Notch hasn't changed it yet.
Either make certain current mobs more rare, or add new mobs that are incredibly rare. Minecraft starts to get old when you encounter every single mob in a matter of days (Minecraft days, mind you). There should be some mobs that occur more infrequently. For example, slimes should be way more rare then they already are. That way it is really cool when you find them. And for these rare mobs, make them useful/dangerous. Slimes don't need to be more dangerous, mind you, but for crying out loud, make the slimeballs useful!
Pistons are probably going to be added in 1.6, but I'll still say I'd like to see them here.
Make the bow less overpowered. With such a high fire rate and all, it needs to have at least some kind of limitations to it. I think Notch plans on doing this.
Modding GUI. I personally don't use mods at all - I used the better light one, but of course that's now in the game xD - but I think that it would save some of the griping I've seen on the forums and help make Minecraft better.
Revamping how SMP works. What I mean by this is that there needs to be some kind of better system for creating/joining an SMP server. Preferably you should be able to create a server straight from the game, rather than downloading the separate files and doing all of that. Also, it should show you what the past couple of servers you've visited are, and give you a search function for servers. This way it can be easier to connect with your friends on different servers, rather than having to re-type the server ID all the time.
Spider string? If anyone else has bothered looking in the texture files, you'd see that there is a separate string icon, which has been determined to be spider string. If this is the case, then does that mean that spiders will have webs? I would like to see spiders building webs, staying in a small area, and not despawning. Destroying the webs could create the spider string, with which 4 could create regular string. It would make the bow/fishing rod more valuable, and spiders would have another reason to be an awesome mob.
That's all I've got thus far. I may come back to this later and add to it. :tongue.gif:

Pistons, I think.
