Are you ****ing kidding me? I don't want to sound like a *****, but Notch needs to get his **** back together. I understand completely that he has worked very hard, and that this game is still in Beta but it seems like there are more errors than fixes. This has been happening to me for the past 5 days. This is also very aggravating to people who host their own servers like myself.
Geesh, the past month has all but killed my server with all the down time at prime time playing hours..
We either need better, and more servers to handle the load, or a change in the verification method.
I be more then happy to be able to store skins on my server for the main players to call it from, and what ever verification information might be needed. As in once someone is verifed on your server it saves a packet or something that knows they are legit and lets them in... Been rather silly lately.

Well I use McAdmin to host my server. It is actually pretty handy and useful, although I'd have a difficult time counting the number of errors I get weekly.
Come on Notch.
It wasn't like this in alpha.
When did I mention it was "hard" to host a server. I said it is difficult to keep it running with constant errors.
