16. There are a LOT of tweens and teens around, but not many under 13, thankfully.
There are a lot of good players under 13

18. I prefer talking to an older demographic. Anyone younger than 16/17 annoy me.
I totally agree.

I am a Tween, but I act mature. REAL MATURE.
SAYING that you are mature just proves that you aren't.
I don't see why if you say you are mature, you will get flamed by the community for "acting immature". Anyways, why judge people by simple phrases with no meaning like that, rather than knowledge of grammar and the "maturity" of a person's post? I know that a lot of internet communities have people who think they are the best and have huge ego complexities (R-BLOX, for instance), but you should give people a chance to prove themselves mature, whether they think they are or not.
On topic: I am 13, turning 14 quite soon, and am quite mature for my age.
It's experience, dude. You'll quickly learn (as time goes on), that those who say they are mature, are almost always the ones who are really aren't (to varying degrees).
Those who are mature don't need to say it, as it will almost immediately be obvious.
As for me? Sure, I would consider myself mature, but I took too long to get here.
Flowzor is right, trying to say you are mature (esp. saying "REAL MATURE.") is a give away that you aren't mature enough to stop acting like the little kids that want to be "big kids now" and start just being one. I know any 13,14, etc. year olds will read this any deny that they are doing this, but the majority are still doing something really similar.

Just discovered my "get-rich-quick" scheme.
Scour message boards everywhere for people under 16 who think they could "live on their own" because they're "quite mature". Put them in a house together, say... 7-8 of them. Film it.
Already in brittain xD
So THAT is why America(USA) is behind.
And LOL at the person(people) who said they are 12 and think they can live on their own, and that a lack of cash is just an issue.
Dude, getting a job and subsequently money is part of living on your own. In fact, it's really the majority of it, along with managing what you have to find a place to live, buy food, etc.

13(14 in July). It's pretty sadistic how badly tweens are treated around gaming forums and ingame. I admit I HAVE done immature stuff but its how I act around my friends. It shouldn't matter what age they are, everyone matures at a different rate.
-sigh-
1. Don't tell your age and still expect to be treated nice. Those who are mature and/or just older have had enough of the little kids/"tweens" that act like noobs, etc.
2. If you act immature (just) around your friends, you're still immature.
Although, it would help to tell me, what "immature" stuff are you doing to begin with? Maybe it's just kinda harmless(i.e. messing with your friends sculpture because they know you don't mean to bring a total end to it?)
My mother is 47, she is a very mature, successful, responsible adult.
She has a high paying job, works 12 hours a day, most days of the week,
taking care of my 10 year old brother, etc. (who btw has just started loving minecraft)
However, just because of all that does not shirk her from her "fun" or "immature" behavior.
Just because she's an adult filling a responsible roll with her priorities straight, doesn't mean
she is a "normal" stuck up adult. I recall living at home, when we'd have spaghetti,
she'd do the "sketti dance" and yell in a high squeaky voice.
Hell, after telling me for years that pokemon was "gay", she turned around and bought
a gameboy and played through Leafgreen, and enjoyed it all. And she named her Zapdos "***** Mofo" :sleep.gif:
She just knows how to have a good time, and I hope that as I'm reaching that horizon that I
haven't forgotten what it is to be yourself, and just let loose and have fun now and then.
Maturity is all about perception, really. Responsibility is another issue.
Being 24 I'm prone to my adolescent immaturity, yet I still have my responsibilities of budgeting, working,
paying bills, and all that "fun" stuff.
More often than not, yeah, children will be more immature. I'd like to think I was a mature
12 year old, but looking back... nah. In some regards, possibly, but mostly, I was a kid.
And every time I thought I was "mature", even up until now, I realise I have a long way to go.
But life's a journey as they say. I'm just going to enjoy life.
Almost 16!
Which makes sense 13-17 has most players, because kids in highschool like to talk with friends, so it travels rather well be word of mouth. I've gotten 3 people to play it so far, one of them wants to buy it sometime.

This. This thread is full of people taking themselves way to seriously, and then yelling about maturity. Funny, I don't remember this topic being called "What are your arbitrary, loud and sometimes insulting views on your and other peoples maturity?".
Calm down a bit, remove yourself from those high-and-mighty pedstals and shut up. If you must argue like that, the PM is the way to do it, because we don't want to see that.
People who think they're mature and are not able to discuss such things in a reasonable manner, get out.

Relax a little, and don't try and prove yourself over the internet.

Because once you get out of highschool, you stop talking with friends ;D
Not trying to add to the hate, just pointing out a simple observation... But I love how the younger members will say they are "x" age, going on "x+1"; especially when a couple of the instances were birthdays much later in the year. Isn't that just assumed that at some point you will have a birthday and become a year older? lol

I'm surprised (no, not really though) that how much young people there are, not that I'm not young myself. I couldn't afford a PC until I started actually working

Shoulda done 5 year divisions. Starting of course with 10 year's, and going up, cutting off 30+ :tongue.gif:
Just my opinion. Lalalala.
Yes.
Or something like
0?-11
12-15
16-21
22-30
31-50

Your avatar gives it away.

I know that i'm naive
Fellows I meet may tell me I'm sweet
And willingly I believe
I am 16 going on 17 innocent as a rose
Bachelor dandies
Drinkers of brandies
What do I know of those
Totally unprepared am I
To face a world of men
Timid and shy and scared am I
Of things beyond my ken
I need someone
Older and wiser
Telling me what to do
You are 17 going on 18
I'll depend on you
Nah, JK!
