I hope I'm not encouraging a flood of creepypasta by creating this thread. I just wanted to know if any miners had creepy or scary experiences in Minecraft. Try to keep it factual, I don't want fifty Herobrine stories posted.
I decided to create this thread last night after a startling experience I had. After my usual MP hangout crashed, I opened up a new SSP map for the hell of it. I began building a platform into the side of the hill. To make it look nice, I decided to close off the space between it and the ground by placing walls of dirt blocks under the edges of it, all the while amusing myself with thoughts of a secret basement and the body-hidden-under-the-house cliche. It was then that I noticed an odd formation under my platform. A 1-unit-deep indent in the ground formed a cross, 4 units long and 3 units wide. I ignored it, remembering the number of odd landscapes I've seen in Minecraft. I closed off the sides of the platform and began on the front. Just as I placed the last dirt block into my wall, shutting off the dark place for good, the music picked up suddenly and violently, like the music in a horror movie right before something bad happens. It being 1 AM at the time, I was noticibly spooked, and decided to quit right there. I don't even know if I want to go back to that world after that.
Dude... Go exploring a random untouched cave on hard difficulty. Actually LOOK for mobs. I changed the zombie noises to be extra mind****tacular and well, let's just say...
There was a cave above me with a zombie dungeon. One dropped right on my head and scared me shitless.
once i was playing minecraft and just finished making my balcony and then the game crashed...then i remade it and then saw a spiderjockey!!! so i went down to take a look went and open the door but then in a split second 2 creepers came at me i was lucky i had a pressure plate....so i stared right at the crrpers face...i stared it dead at the eyes....it looked dead, lost, betreyed by its own family...until it started to spin its head around like the exorcist...i then quit that world because of that...
I was lost in a HUGE cave system. I had been exploring it for about an hour, finding heaps of diamond and other valuables...
Then my pick broke. So I went to craft another one. But I didn't have any wood. As luck would have it, my sword and shovel where almost broken from fighting off mobs and digging. And I only had a couple of torches left.
I couldn't find my way out, and with mobs almost constantly trying to kill me, I dug straight up. Not a great idea, but I needed to get out. So there I was, digging straight up, placing cobble beneath me, sometimes with no light whatsoever. Luck was on my side and I didn't run into any caves or lava. Eventually, I reached the surface. I was jumping with joy and trying to find my base...
Only for a creeper to appear out of no where. I think I almost had a heart attack...
Needless to say, I ran to the nearest corner and cried for a bit.
i tried to play a hardcore mode game (hard + world deleting at death)
i was trying to upgrade my shelter, on a morning, a zombie got from behind and killed me with all of the other mobs that got trapped there too,
or when i was playing at zero volume, a creeper went from behind, everything i remember after that, is that i respawned and had to rebuild everything...
What always gets me is when I'm wandering a new cave system; there is zero sound other than my footsteps, and I hear the twang of a skeleton firing at me. I play with headphones on, so its really loud and sudden and scares the crap outa me.

Herobrine.
And got hurt.
And then I was almost dead.
And I started to heard this zombie moaning.
But I couldn't see him.
And then a zombie jumped down off of a ledge and killed me.
