I don't. Compare Doku's with Painterly... there's really no comparison. If we're gonna talk about pixel artists, doku is so much more amazing at this, and he could probably create a SD pack 100times better than Painterly :C
Ok, I looked at Doku's as well. They are both very impressive. No need to get defensive. :happy.gif:;
I couldnt find anything officeal on guns. just unsupported facts saying notch doesn't want to include guns in minecraft. Notch has stated that he wants to keep the medival/fantasy theme of the game so I can see how this might be true.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"He's trolling the game mechanic itself. And succeeding."
I was just looking around on the Minecraft wiki page for mobs, and the site claims that the polar bear rumor stems from Minecraftcon 2010. The page links to a forum post which doesn't provide any sort of reliable information.
Something else I've never heard before: The wiki claims that whales are "confirmed." I will look around for a source.
So there will be no protection against mobs? cuz they will destroy everything in the way?
That would suck!, okay :wood:, :sand:, and but not stone and iron blocks. because then i would place a wall of outside my city!
Hunger, thirst and poison meters: "Food will only be needed to regain health, there is no food bar. One of my top goals with the project is to make the game as readable and intuitive as possible, so any status ailments I’ll add will be ones that are immediately understandable. An example of something I’ll probably not add is poison. There’s no real way to show that other than to use an icon, and even that is hard to understand, and there’s no way to know how to STOP being poisoned."
He said in the interview with Minezine (me...) that he likes this:

The reason I ask about food is that I like the food mechanic, but right now you just go out and kill pigs randomly, and you're set for a long time.
Also, this'll be Minezine's official source check list. Might even build a page for this, something like minezine.net/sources or something...
