Well this topic sprang from a discussion between me, saiko and Kaiser_Czar about the servers we started out on..
My server history went like this.
First I started out this ancient server called Foobu's something, from there I played mainly on theones lava when it was in its infancy then I migrated to Chariots Realistic Landscape for a couple months... Then came D3 spent a huge amount of time there, then went back to Chariots.. Soon I started drifting toward WoM, then I started hosting my own server, after I started hosting i left WoM, and spent a little amount of time on D3 main... Now-Adays I spend most of my time on my server and visit WoM now and then same for most other servers.
So friends, why not share your server history now :smile.gif:
Started on Gauphastus's private server, shown to me by Gungnir (who I believe no longer plays D:). Played a bit on a spleef server, then a hair on a LoTR inspired one. Then was the golden age of the Stargate Server (still available as a map on Goober's Multiworld), where I was head OP. After that... I wandered random servers for a bit, namely clone's and andrew's but then finally got hooked on D3 and NoxCTF. I now have evolved to Dysgalt's D3 and Jacob's CTF. Hit me up sometime for more nostalgia goodness :biggrin.gif:
Ah, *fixes monocle, throws some firewood in the fire, adjusts recliner, and readys story voice* I really remember my first MC server, which was also my first experience in MC.. My first server ended up being "Seraph's City Build Server" and I was greeted by some blocks around me and too intimidated by the whole thing other than to just sit there and be take in the sights. I sat for about a minute before Seraph and another guy came up to me and greeted me. There were towers I saw I never thought of reaching and when I laid my first block I knew I was going to be sticking with this game.
I didn't really find a home server until I got to Fontpeg's server which I would visit more regularly than others. After his went down I got into the habit of trying to find a home server to establish my footing there.
My next server ended up me staying at clone1018's who named most of his stuff "Axxim" and there I met people I still keep in contact with (kaiser_czar, nintendow1, zippo/nanno111).
After his abruptly went down I moved onto Megalomaniac Tom/fucbillgate's server with a little of D3 main and Spadge's RP on the side. Megalomaniac Tom ended up being the best mapper I've ever seen ever in MC to this day with his insanely crafted maps. Spadge's was the elite RP back in the day but was sadly ended quicker then many people would like, and I've had my history with D3 now.
It was at least December by this point and I also devoted some time to Pokecraft where we built all of Kanto block by block on a Vanilla server and is still one of the biggest and best group projects I've been in.
Around this time as I began to leave Spadge's, Tom's, and the Pokecraft server I put more and more time into D3 eventually becoming OP. I think it was the start of the new year now and noxryan's server sprang up. I visited it earlier when he had his maze mode functioning (and my first brief encounter with Animator :biggrin.gif:) and eventually played enough to become OP in his CTF mode and be able to remotely start the server..
Half way through playing I took up the hobby of making CTF maps and went to dysgalt one day for a favor: a map on his D3 server which he happily agreed. Give or take a few months, and with noxryan's server almost indefinitely dead, I am here now mostly playing on dysgalt's D3 and co-co-owning the D3 server.
Wow, I don't even think I covered as much as I would like, but uh, yeah that's my server history.
I started on Leyton's server, which was for like a day. Around November. But I decided to quit for a while, considering most of the servers I went to at that time either jailed me. Or were griefed badly. Then, for a while, me and my friend went starting server hopping. Hoping to find a good one. I landed on Unison's but quit after a very, very quickly. But there, I met awesome friends, Cass, Fluke42, Rudolph, and some great spritists, Sous and Hart. And a guy very generously bought me the game.
I also met Undeceived and was admin on his server. Throughout that period of time, I learned how to build my firsts Mecha, aka. Gundam. My first was with SoulKaze. :smile.gif: Another close friend of mine who showed me to Theones.
After that, I went to see the the hype on CTF. I met a lot of friends along the way. I loved CTF. I quickly rose to rank 3, mostly by my time spent there not really "skill" But then Jacob_'s opened up, and I just totally dominated that. I was given Head OP on Jacob_'s but not on Nox's. Nox's CTF VPS was actually lost somewhere along the lines Jacob_'s came in.
Then, I ventured on to Dysgalt's D3. I loved the community and the simplicity of the D3 codes themselves. I met the greatest people there, and their best builders. That is where I also met DragoonEnRegalia, and established a clan with him. The admins were very welcoming, because I met some during CTF. I also quickly rose through the ranks, gaining admin on Dysgalt's D3, and also on D3 main, because I was a friend of Ronjoe.
And I'm currently still in love with the D3 servers.
I actualyl started with my own server, then eventually said 'screw it' and joined an RP server (met someone who was really into imprisonment... and being a catgirl), but that server went down and never went back up, so I was lost for a while. I went to TheOne's Lava, and eventually called that home.

I am NOT going to see friend requests, so stop sending them.
From August until about November I played on random servers mostly. I went on the Concept build server once and played for a couple hours. A few weeks later I logged onto that server and the Admin Ulrich2000 remembered me from that one time I came on. I stayed there for a couple weeks and then I went to a random server called Electroshock. There I met a player named Fritzoid who made me an op after I played there for a few days. I never met the guy who ran the server because he never came on. The server got heavily griefed around December 8th so I figured out how to forward the ports and got a server up called Electroshock 2. After a few days it became The Colony - Headquarters and me and Fritzoid ran it. Then it became The Colony-Universe after a 1 month downtime that ended on February 15th becoming one of the first servers using Mcsharp. I still run it today, but my Ops and admins mostly handle everything. I also played on Nox ctf until it went down then I became an Op on Jacob's ctf.
Dicked around on weird servers until I found a home in the early-ish TheOne's Lava. Became Trusted, had fun, B& arseholes, got demoted for repeatedly kicking a griefer when no OPs were on. Left for a while, came back, got on the zombie server, today I occasionally play but mostly play Survival.
The first MP server I went on was my own with some friends I no longer speak to there was some minor castle building. I left it running overnight and awoke to find an epic castle spanning a large portion of the map. I visited various other servers including Reddit Public. But never really settled with one server. I never have actually settled on a single server. Noteworthy servers I've visited:
Notch's Original MP Tests
Reddit Public
TheOne's Lava Survival
Fontpeg's(?) Zombie Survival
Dysgalt's D3
D3's D3 (lol)
Colony Universe
That's probably it. I've been on lots of minor servers.
My very first server was some WoM server.
Everyone ignored me and i wasn't able to build, so my thought about minecraft was "it's a very nice game, but i don't really like it's multiplayer mode"
Later, i figured out that minecraft multiplayer was actually nice, but that WoM screwed it up.
I gained my first OP on a server called "Valhalla", someone named Schmoo ran it. I wonder if he is still around, since his server was very nice.
I stayed around on Valhalla for a long time, but then, it disappeared.
After a time on some varying servers, i joined HardClumping's server because i met him before somewhere else.
His server was very fine, and the creations were full of fantasy. (On that place, i tip my hat to redrager)
Later, i visited chariot's realistic landscape, but i always have to wait a long time to enter.
Nowadays, i spend most my time on alpha, but sometimes, i join a random server or ask a buddy to start his one.
the colony universe pretty much, first server i logged on. great people, they taught me how to play minecraft. still hangout there whenever im playing multiplayer.
i also hungout the one's lava survival for awhile, until an OP decided she didnt like me and permabanned me. still pissed about that. *****.

Matt, seriously, stop trolling. So can you please shut the **** up and go troll the infdev forums about how much you want to get 10 bucks from your hobo house?
The first server i went on regularly was A-mall or something and was an op there until i was banned when some guy blamed me for griefing when i hadn't done anything.
After that i was on Dag10's server which was pretty awesome until it crashed i think.
Ive always liked plain servers, not the ones with those fancy worlds n stuff.

Coal is inefficient. I only use Propane and Propane Accessories.
Started out on a server which advertised it self as Australian. (forget it's name now) Kept hanging around their until it simply disappeared. After that hopped between various servers. Realised I could host my own. After a while stopped doing that for a bit and starting stopping by a server called Explore and Create. That disappeared as well. Back to hosting my own.
I joined a couple random servers, migrated to [SNiPE] Ocean Build (while it still existed) and made a kickass griefed-like-hell hotel. Feels like forever ago. That server shut down, I moved to more random servers, went to WoM, stayed there for a few months, left, and now just play /game/ with a touch of WoM now and then.
I started out with citric's little servers, and then moved onto hosting mine, and then moved to TheOne's lava, and have been there for a little over a year now. Woot woot.
I started out on servers in early fall, when I went to Citric's servers. Then when those disappeared, I left servers for a while, until I went to TheOne's Lava in January. I pretty much stayed there, and really only go to a few other server (WoM, Dysgalt's D3).
My firsat server was the Sky Dive Build server, but I realised I couldnt build anything worth lasting here so I left. Then I tried someones Castle Build, and I met some really cool people there (General Failure, Gatteua) and thats my regular server now, but I sometimes go on TheOnes Lava Survival.

Amazed I was, though it was quite lame.
In Treehouse I made many friends.
Lost they are through saddened ends.
Then Crafthub came so I did OP.
Till that asshole got pissy and banned me.
Then ylt's server, with friends from the past.
But like treehouse it did not last.
Now in underd0g's we will see.
What will become of me.
