So, MCRecipe is a tool I've been building with my friend Drew. It lets you show in an image how a recipe is put together, or how a theoretical recipe might be put together. There's a bunch of blah blah blah stuff you can do to customize it, but I'll repost that stuff later. For now, here's the page for using mcrecipe: http://mcrecipe.jakeberry.net/design.php
(It has a weird bug where the page layout is weird the first time you load it - let it load fully then refresh and it should fix itself.)
Yes, I realize that the tiles are not entirely up to date. I'll go back and add the snow+ice textures later. :tongue.gif:

I had already seen that page, and I was really hoping there was some other source from which I could get the images. Not only would I have to do a bunch of image editing to crop out single versions of those images, I would (in some cases) have to try to edit out the numbers or try to get them from screenshots of the game. That's a lot of work and a lot of time - which I would prefer to spend writing the actual php rather than mindless image editing. Which is why I was kind hoping there was either a compressed folder of images or a spritesheet I could use.
Whoa! Ok, so, not what I had in mind, but this is FAR SUPERIOR to the prospect tons of image editing. Thanks! Guess I'll get started on that php then. :wink.gif:
Edit: Want to... doublepost... so badly... to get this back to the top of the thread list. But I will not! I will simply edit this post to say that I have edited the first post in the thread showing off my new php script, of which I am very proud. X3
As a side note, I've added a gear sprite that I found on the wiki. If anyone else has 16x16 images they'd like me to add, just let me know! :biggrin.gif:
I love this! It really is a great tool to display recipes!
A quick test resulted in an alteration of the Diamond Pickaxe recipe. :smile.gif:
Quick guide
The code for this image is: 2&h=3&r=2,8,3,3,16,1&s=2
It's 2 times 3 big, which amounts to 6 boxes. The numbers [2,8,3,3,16,1] fills it up, from the left to the right and it starts over on the next row every 2 numbers, with [grass, water, dirt, dirt, coal, stone]. It will be displayed in a 2:1 scale.

You're missing a "w=" at the beginning of the code. :tongue.gif: But I'm glad you like it. I'm thinking about making a second php file just for showing the crafting result, you'd stick the two images side by side so that they would appear to be one image.
EDIT: this should be integrated into the minecraft forums, do want widget on the wide of my post that lets me make these.

Matt, seriously, stop trolling. So can you please shut the **** up and go troll the infdev forums about how much you want to get 10 bucks from your hobo house?
Yay! It looks like a friend of mine (who I believe to be better at UI than myself) is probably going to help me build a page for building one of these recipes easily. :smile.gif:
So, I still need to improve the design of the page, but the graphical recipe design tool that my good friend Drew helped me build (Ok, so, he did most of the work) is mostly done!

Sorry, got a bit distracted because I was making a new wallpaper to replace my old one. This one is minecraft themed of course. : ) Here's a few links at different resolutions for anyone who is interested.
I vote that this thread is Stickied in either the alpha mode thread or the suggestions thread. Its super helpful and I don't want to see it go to waste in hundreds of threads.
