can you tell me how to fix mobs being ridden or riding something with items work properly?
I don't really know, haven't been playing around Minecraft for some time. Also, I'm leaving in a day, and won't be here for around four days or so.
I would prefer that it would be possible to make inside Minecraft itself, without using third party programs such as MCEdit, as so far all the mobs don't need MCEdit.

Falling sand entities on a invisible ocelot to make a tameable block that runs away from you
I was originally planning to add this in the last update, due to someone posting this idea on Youtube. Only thing is that, overtime, the sand entity would break, and just leave behind and invisible Ocelot. Well, according to his video on it anyways.
I made a few mobs myself.
Wisp
just a baby zombie with a jack-o-lantern head
Command is:

But what if you remove the bat?
A creeper that tries to approach you while shooting you, and when too close... Boom, it explodes.
I guess it's a bit interesting if you put it that way. But basically the creeper wouldn't even get to explode if he kept shooting you away.
But I'll think about it though...

But it will be a danger, imagine it, a mob with a long-range, and close-range attacks?
If you stay away, it'll shoot you to death. If you try to kill it outright, it'll distract you by shooting, then blow up, killing you.
The only way to defeat it will be to snipe it from afar.
